Really informative video Karl - there's no hiding from you out there, is there! Gee, that looked cold on the water.

Thanks Frank 😊 it was certainly cold 🥶 and I think the fish were feeling it too as they we’re pretty slow going. And definitely no hiding🕵️♂️

Literally watching your vid at the same time 😅

You get some chucky reddies around there mate, not my favourite fish but they are tasty 😋 If only they fought a bit harder and weren't an invasive species

Haha yeah I finally had some time to catch up on some vids 🙏 your trout vids are awesome! Yeah we have a few lakes here with a really nice average size. I don’t target them too often. Usually if I need a few for the freezer or as a fun session with friends.

Thanks mate 😊🎣 It was a pretty shutdown bite but managed to get a good feed in a few hours fishing. Wanted to show some different techniques in tougher conditions.

Hey mate, love your work... question is when seeing the fish pop up on your screen are they directly under you or behind?
@Karl_Wild_Fishing4 ай бұрын
Thanks mate, appreciate the comment. It really depends how quickly you are moving. Generally they will be in your trail by the time you see the mark on the sounder. Once located you can search slowly until you are over them. When you are sitting directly above a fish they will be long stringy marks as the beam from the transducer will be hitting the same fish over and over again.

New subscriber Karl. What is the sounder and transducer that you are using? Is it portable and able to be fitted/removed easily from your kayak? Some good sized Redfin caught, good feed. Cheers.

Hey Neil, thanks so much for subscribing 🎣 looking forward to sharing plenty more tips, tricks and adventures with you in the future 😊 I have a video with my kayak setup in one of my playlists which shows how it all goes together 👍 but basically I’m currently running a Lowrance HDS Carbon with tripshot transducer and Active Target 1 transducer. I have wired all the transducers into my kayak however the head unit can be removed for storage/ transport. Possibly an upgrade to the main head unit at some stage if funds permit…

Hey what was that first blade/rattle type lure that you wire first using? before the soft plastics.

Hey mate that was a Duo Nitro I think they are called. Think that was a 58mm in this video 👌

@@Karl_Wild_Fishing thanks heaps Karl 👍😀 Hey absolutely awesome kayak setup mate. I’m so jealous, I think i might need to save for one 🤔👏😀

No worries mate. The yak setup is definitely something I’ve put a lot of time and effort into getting just right for me. But I’m sure I’ll find something to mod on it again soon hahaha.
