JeweJewe Bee no but I need to try ir because everyone raves about it, u have amazing hair looks like ur products works for u! I didn't know black soap can be used as a shampoo I only use it for my face and body will I need to try it!

Yes! They do. And thank you! And Black African Soap is a little drying as a forewarning. It is more clarifying. So for an everyday wash, I'd recommend a cleanser like Renpure Solutions's Pomegranate cleanser because it actually makes my hair feel moisturized after I use it. The Black Soap kinda of leaves my hair feeling slightly dehydrated and tangled, but it's easily fixed with conditioner :)

When I did the big chop for the very first time I was so obsessed with using conditioner only as to prevent my hair from "drying" out and trust me! It sure worked on the moisturizing aspect but as it related to cleansing ! oooh girl, my scalp itched so bad. However, after ditching that "ideal" and actually incorporating some shampoo and ensuring that I used a good leave in and a nice oil to seal, my scalp started to sing ! LOL Needless to say, it is not always what everyone does that works for you and that's totally fine. Great results as always , hair looks great :)

+Shaniel Douglas I know how you feel. I always felt like my scalp kinda felt cake-y when I co-washed only, so then I tried shampoo in my regimen. Realised that THAT was a bad idea, as my hair literally insta-locks when too muvh shampoo is in it. What I found works is using TRader's Joe's Tea Tree Tingle clarifying conditioner most days, and only shampooing (with Herbal Essences Color Me Happy shampoo) once a month, if that, or as needed when my scalp gets cakey. :D I don't have to shampoo as much because every morning I wet my hair in the shower and rinse out yesterday's conditioner, then I leave in Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner as my styling product. Because of that, I can get away with not shampooing or co-washing with the Tea Tree Tingle for up to two weeks, since I have frequent mini-washes. It's amazing how each person's hair is different, so unique in how we take care of it!

No but gurrrrl, it is so worth it. After you do a cold rinse, you will see you hair packed with shine and so moisturized. I don't even think taking a whole shower with cold water is that great either so, I do it at the end of the wash process. Hope that helped💜

If you ever have the time you should try to deep condition and use leave in conditioner in the shower then braid your hair in multiple small braids then braid all of the little braids into one big braid and let your hair fully dry then unbraid all of your hair. It stretches the hair as well as locks in the moisture from conditioning

Great video! I remember your other video for keeping your hair moisturized in the winter (Dec 21, 2013). I know you are happier that you were able to simplify your routine, lol. I think that combining it with oil, or leaving the deep conditioner in helped me a lot (since the deep conditioner is so thick and moisturizing). It's good that you wash your hair with hot water because you hair opens up to suck in all that moisture but at the end make sure you run your hair in cold water so that your hair closes up sealing in all the moisture

It takes a while to get used to but Finger Detangling is the ultimate key 🔑 to preserving length/no ends breaking due to comb snatch!!!!!!!!!! You needs lots of slip in conditioner.
