Winter camping would be fun with the appropriately outfitted RV. You must have an awesome spouse, I could never get my wife to camp out in the winter. I'd be going with the dog. The quiet and solitude would be awesome.

My philosophy is you can always get warm you can't always get cool. it's cool having bow run loose he is like you said in his element but with cougars I would carry some bear spray and if he would come to you at least you could protect him. Thank you so much you are a great team and you produce great videos

Wow that cherry pie looks fantastic! We were outside in 9 degrees last week in Texas, believe it or not. Our water and power at the house Went out and drove-us into our RV. To the closest campground with power. My only trouble was That sleet had frozen he door shut. So be aware sometimes you have to have an alternate exit.

Love Cherry Republic! We stayed at Interlochen State Park last time. Not sure if they’re open in winter. Is your Transit cab insulated or do you need to curtain it off at night? We’ve found insulation to be lacking on our Winnebago in the cab area. Blocking it off with a blanket made all the difference in the world!

Ok, now I need to know how many parks in Michigan are open in the winter? Where can I find that info? I know Tahquamenon Falls is open, didn't know of any in the lower. Thanks for the info!!! Hoping to head out in early April

You guys make winter camping look like so much fun! One question though - since you seem to winter camp often, did you have to winterize your LTV? Would it still perform in the winter if you didn’t winterize? Are there other preparations you could make in order for it to perform in the winter?
@J.W.W.3 жыл бұрын
Search their previous videos, they covered winter prep not too long ago.

Did the camper stay warm enough? Work off electric heat?
@wildernessdisneydad16213 жыл бұрын
@@RVLifestyle thank you! Watched your winterizing video. My follow up question is do you think it would be possible to add heating elements to LTV tanks and lines so it could truly be 4 season or would this have to be done during manufacturing?
@RVLifestyle3 жыл бұрын
@@wildernessdisneydad1621 I don't believe LTV offers that capability.

I’ve marked the spots! I plan on visiting my sister on Madeline Island, and will be trekking through Michigan on my way. I’d love to try the winter camping but not on the island. For most of the winter the ferry ⛴ isn’t running and I’m not taking the RV on the ice road!!
@happycamper88953 жыл бұрын
Does the. Shower have a lock that requires a series of numbers to unlock? Tawas State Park has a shower in winter but it requires a sequence of numbers to open. Beau wants a piece of cherry pie 11:41.

Trust me where they were was very safe. Ludington SP is right out on the lakeshore and Platte River is very remote. I love that you went to Cherry Republic; as a native I have supported their business a time or two. Thank you for having more guts than we do to go camping in Michigan in the winter
@pingchen74543 жыл бұрын
@@kennethcutter2107 ok I think this is maybe the culture difference. for Chinese we think more crowd more safe. however American people think remote area is safer than city area.
