Anna you inspire me so much, it’s so cold here in Europe and I’m growing out my hair after bleaching it 1.5 years ago. I use the Coco & Eve hair mask also the Shea Moisture Castor Oil mask to keep my ends hydrated during the winter. I hair dry on lowest setting for 5mins with fingers only to reduce dry time as air drying in the winter takes forever and I don’t have that much time, plus I feel with wet hair and the cold I might catch a cold!I use grape seed oil to seal ends daily for frizz and I wear a silk cap in the shower on the days I don’t wash my hair. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your journey ❤❤❤

Thank you so much! I also use my blow dryer more in the winter, mainly on my roots but I hate sleeping or going out with damp hair. I’m excited for you to reach all your goals! Thank you for sharing your routine 🖤

My hair is naturally frizzy. But i also grew up without using conditioner as my mom said it was a waist of money. Not until recently I discovered the conditioner, deep conditioner and masks. My hair is still frizzy but it looks so much better ❤

Thank you for your videos. I usually like it even before the video starts because I know I'm going to enjoy it. Honestly, I know most of your tips by now along with learning newer ones, but mostly I just watch your videos because they are like medicine for me during my hair journey. Reaching my hair goal is gonna take it's time and it really tests my patience. So your videos keep me going and encouraged. I hope some day when I reach my goal I can meet you and thank you for it in person. Hope you have a good day :)

Hi Anna, Are you doing a winter growth challenge this year? I have followed all your growth challenges since the winter of 20/21. I still (usually) follow that routine, i e. Weekly scalp treatment (i am still using the star anise one from last winter as the supplies lasted a long time, weekly hair mask, scalp massage a few times a week, silk pillowcase, occasional s&d, still struggle with protective styles due to sensitive scalp and slippery hair. I get a trim every 6 months and I have tried quite a few leave in conditioners. Its hard to find the right ones and ones that are not strong smelling. Thank you for all the good hair advice. Totally understand if you do not have time and energy to put together a new challenge. I will just keep on with what I have learned.

Do you have any updated shampoo / conditioner recs? The Hair Routine was my go to but it seems like there has been no activity on their page for a while // a lot of people are concerned about their service.

what do you think about co-washing?

I think it’s great! It depends on your hair type etc, but it works really well for some people and it’s much less drying on the hair if you have to wash it frequently. I would just say it’s important to clarify your scalp more often if you co-wash just to avoid buildup but that’s it

@@OrganicallyAnna what is 'clarifying the scalp' process? I was planning on just using clarifying shampoo once or twice a month, and trying to wash my hair once or twice a week; as shampoo seems to just strip the oil out of my hair from scalp to shaft as if I might as well be washing my hair with laundry detergent...
