I blanket sprayed my backyard with Triplet and some of your adjuvant to kill some wild garlic. I had a lot of it. It was so thick it actually had my eyes burning when I’d mow it. You mentioned using Speed Zone because of the cool temps. I’m curious as to why you chose Speed Zone over a 3-way like Triplet? My wild garlic has yellowed, so I think it’s working………slowly.

@@Lawnstradamus no worries! The or shouldn’t be there. Weed control has two basic properties 1) Amine (water based) good for warm weather 2) Ester (oil based) cut off around 70 ish degrees but cold weather or waxy weeds it will cut through the weed surface for better control. Cool power works well too. Fall for cool season grass is the best time for weed control.

@@Lawnstradamus I have had great success using both up until it really gets cold then I do switch over to ester products. The reason i used speed zone in this video is I had a 2.5 gallon jug of it on hand. The triplet we use I buy in 275G totes and I honestly didnt want to crank the pump up just to get 3 pints out...it was easier to use the speed zone in the 2.5G jug.

Our youth fields are maintained by the township. Enough said. I wanted to mow the infield and was shot down. Next best thing was to get my baselines right.
