Good morning I hope you feel better take a nap please lol I stopped using DIY about nine months ago or so I wanted a kit from them and it was subpar at best. I have used her when I started diamond painting, 4+ years ago and her rendering her diamonds, her packaging by hand, I still have one left, was just outstanding, so thank you for trying to keep us updated. I too hope that they are OK. They have two small children to take care of and I hope that they take care of the people who put in orders. Thanks for being you.

Katie, sorry to hear you are unwell. Been struggling with asthma & chest infection myself. For air quality/bushfire air (Victoria Australia, lots of bushfires here) block up any vents your house has to outside (can get non-permanent vent covers, check your exhaust fans that they don’t let air back inside when it’s not taking air out. A good quality air purifier is so worthwhile, make sure it has hepa filters and is big enough for the room. 💕

I’m very new to diamond painting. Like only just started over the weekend and I definitely ordered some paintings from Amazon to just try and can’t wait to get better quality ones that I can hang up!

I don't know if you ever tried, but instead of cutting up my dryer sheet, I put my drills in a closable tray with the sheet between the drills and the lid. (Closed within the tray.) Then shake. Pour out of the tray and it is easier to maneuver than within the plastic bags.

Super funny, I used to be the General Manager for the Donatos In Milford, we lived in Cincinnati for YEARS before we moved to Ft Knox. That Hawaiian pizza is the reason I love Pineapple on Pizza. Im sure you have also had La Rosas as well. I miss that big time. That and skyline chili.

Hawaiian Pizza is great, there was a place in New Hampshire that makes it with ham pineapple and maraschino cherries was a sweet pizza but not overpoweringly so.

Have never ordered from this particular shop. But orders made and paid for should absolutely be honored or they should not have taken the order in the first place. Especially if there was any doubt at all about fulfilling it. Feel for those customers who may lose their money.

I HATE kitting down because I do save my drills (for the moment) and a lot of it is because I fight to get baggies open to pour them into. Your tip on how to open those ziplock baggies will be a game changer. Also, I posted in the VIP group with a picture of a DP and the perfect washi tape I found for it. I had several people ask me how and what washi tape is used for. I was so glad to have your video to link for them. That’s where I learned to section my canvas from and I was delighted to get to share the information. 🎨👩‍🎨

Great video!! I also experience a lot of medical discrimination and prejudice for being overweight, and YES, you do have to advocate for your medical needs firmly and politely or the consequences can be dire. 😕. Pineapple on pizza definitely! 😁❤️👍🏻🖍️

Hi Katie, yes to Pineapple and Canadian bacon on Pizza. Had for the first time in 1989, when I was visiting Maui. Had an EggMcMuffin for the first time when I visited my cousins in Nova Scotia in the summer of 1987. My cousin-in-law Margie, made for breakfast English Muffin will Canadian Bacon, cheese, and hashbrowns. For lunch we had Lobster sandwiches. Think Tuna sandwiches, but with Lobster.

I’ve never tried pineapple on pizza 🍕 🍍 and hearing you rave about it makes me think I’ve been missing out. I think it’ll be interesting to see what response you get back from diymoon shop about what’s happening. I was going to place an order just before all of the changes started happening to their website and I’m so glad now that I didn’t if other customers are having so much trouble with them. Glad you’re on the mend and loved seeing the paint gem mini set being worked on 😁

Mmm, pineapple on pizza. 💜💜💜 What I really love these days is curry pizza, though. There's a local place that uses curry sauces instead of marinara, naan style crust and customizable spicy toppings. It's amazing. 🎨

I really enjoyed this video and I am glad you are on the mend… bronchitis is no joke… the chlorine probably didn’t help at all when you went swimming but I’m glad you had fun with family. I agree, so sad and rather abrupt of Diymoonshop’s closure. Still find if in shock. Now, you know I hold you near and dear my friend but I will have to agree with disagree with you about the pizza 😂😂😂. So when I was growing up 80’s and early 90’s, that wasn’t even a thing in New York! At least where I lived. Bryant and I go back and forth on it. He loves Hawaiian pizza,,, with ranch too. Hi Katie! I know exactly what you mean about AI taking over things. I used to post some art on Deviant Art back in the early 2000's. I always disabled right click because I didn't want anyone to steal my stuff, I added the DA watermark as well, and only uploaded at 72 dpi for resolution. Other artists should do the same if they have a Deviant Art or similar. 🎨

Legally Blonde!! I just preordered "Rainbow Trains" from Diamond Art Studio UK. I picked it because I much prefer rounds drills, and it was the only option from that artist. The description didn't say the color count, so I'm a little nervous! All of that artist's work is gorgeous! You've inspired me to try a high-color kit, as yours is turning out beautifully! I strongly believe that everything belongs on a pizza, because PIZZA!!🍕🍕

I used that paint gem container set. While it’s cute I think would be better with at least full size containers. Diymoonshop - I don’t understand the lack of communication. That’s a big pet peeve thing of mine. It’s disrespectful and sneaky. Especially that they didn’t even keep their affiliates or probably even the artists - some I saw posting i know had art with them and they didn’t even know what was going on. I hope some of their artists are picked up by DAC or others!

🎨 Yes to pineapple on almost anything including pizza. Medical vas lighting is a real thing especially with women, I had my ob/gyn's nurse practitioner, who was a woman tell me that debilitating period pain (like missing 3 days of work every month) was "just part of being a woman" and to just deal with it. These days they just blame anything and everything on being fat and being old or accuse me of being "hysterical" 😒😑 It got so bad that I had to start insisting that my husband be allowed to accompany me into Dr appts, when they started in on their bs, he would let them know I wasn't exaggerating, low and behold when it came from him it was taken seriously, when they had always just brushed me off previously. Still searching for a decent primary doctor who actually listens, it's harder when you're rural like we are, there is a limited number of doctors, period, that aren't an hour+ drive away. If you feel dismissed always seek another opinion. That got long, sorry

I had a feeling you were going to start with girl with the pearl earring! 😀 I think PaintGem is doing square drills because of the size. I don't think the pieces would render well that small and round. That to say they could do larger pieces round and still be snack size. 🍍🎨🖌🖍🖊🖋

The worry about AI and it taking artistic jobs are real. If original artists are asked for permission to be included in AI databases and paid for any derivatives that would be different. I’m not against AI I’m about clear labelling, consent and payment for original artists. I’m really disappointed everyone’s favourite big DP company isn’t disclosing the kits that are AI, I thought with their policy of licensing artwork they’d be more open to thinking about AI and looking after their artists. 😢

I'm very confused as to what happened to diymoonshop, cause everything was made to order so they didn't have to take in a bunch of stock they weren't able to sell 😅 I also feel when they changed shipping methods the quality went down... I do hope they pull through, but I do wish they would have asked for help from the community ❤

I really agree. There were multiple times that I and other affiliates and customers reached out to them asking for updates, how we could help, offering feedback, etc. But they honestly just weren't receptive. It's disappointing all around. Of course I wish them all the best and hope they're able to make things right with the people who placed orders that they can't fulfill or refund.

Thanks for the Wip & Chat! Pineapple on pizza! Yes! And ice cream 😅 About A.I. I’ve been watching Elon Musk talk about it. He is very concerned about it having no regulations. He also talks about how long regulations take once they decide it is warranted! It’s crazy because the first interview I saw was months ago, and all of a sudden it’s every where! Very scary. Black Mirror on Netflix has an episode called “Joan Is Ugly” that Selma Hayek and Annie Murphy are in that is exactly about A.I. using celebrity’s images and voices to make entertainment. Honestly it feels like we will never know what is real and what is not. 😢

No thanks to pineapple, but I'm not offended by it. I know that AI coming to diamond painting was inevitable, but the hard line for me is where the AI art is very much in the style of specific artists (and some recent releases from prominent companies have unfortunately been just that). It's hard to know how to respond to that, especially since everyone seems to shut down any conversation-however reasonable-around the issue. 🎨

Katie I really hope that you feel better soon. I am not advocating crazy behavior or anything but I really do feel like you have the absolute right to be upset and say something to your regular doctor about that telehealth visit. Respiratory issues are very serious and can escalate very quickly. That person had no right to blow you off like that and you should be furious. I am an asthmatic and I know all too well how badly a respiratory infection can be. I just got over one about a month ago. And my husband ended up with a bad case of bronchitis. That person needs to be talked to by an upper level physician or something because this could have gone badly. Thank God that it didnt and that you did go see someone and are recovering but I personally know of cases that went very badly. Rant over... I just got very upset you were treated that way. We all care about you. NOW on a more positive note!!! Did you see that there is another preorder for Helkoryo? They credited all the flood of new interest to you. They said they didnt know who you were until they got so many questions due to your unboxing!!!! In my opinion that is just super exciting!! I want another one so bad but I just cannot afford it right now but I am going to get it as soon as I possibly can. One more thing. I didnt want to comment on the other video because Im not participating in Summer with the Masters but I have been following it. I absolutely love the story behind your canvas!! I loved loved loved it!!! 🎨 🖌🖼

I agree with you on the AI mess that’s happening right now. Unfortunately it’s not just the use of AI being regulated, but also properly enforced it. This is mostly because the government can make any new laws about anything, but if they don’t enforce it or just give out warnings, then those laws existing, is a bit pointless. 🎨 🖌️

What I've found is my primary doctor is just a wellness doctor and urgent care places are where you go when you're sick. I think primary doctors are really pushing their patients in that direction. I hope you're cough get better!! 🖼️🖌️ PS No to pineapple on pizza ☠️
