When I bought this GMC Yukon I knew I would have to replace the windshield and now is the time. I am not replacing it myself but did want to remove some of the parts. It was a great time to remove the windshield wipers. Remove the wiper cowl and clean. The wipers are sometimes a pain to remove from a gmc yukon or chevy tahoe but I show you how. I you have have a gmc yukon or chevy tahoe that has been in the sun a lot the wiper cowl fades. I wanted to take this time to remove, clean and use trim gel on. While I had the windshield wipers off I wanted to scuff and repaint. Of course like most of the vehicle on this channel with an antenna. I wanted to install a short antenna on it. The factory long antenna on the yukon and tahoe looks ridiculous so we needed a short antenna. Check out the trim after cleaning aswell as the wipers and antenna.

Just did the same thing to my 2004 silverado..... Glass was $175 here in Houston. The guy came to the house did it in the driveway. I agree with you, the wipers are a pain to get off, its definitely a delicate dance, like you said....Keep the good content coming.

Great video but here is a tip you may or may not know. When you are removing the wiper arm, loosen the nut until the top of the nut is about one thread higher than the stem. Then when you pull up on the arm and tap with the hammer there will be no chance of damaging the threads on the stem. This works on ANY size of thread or nut. Either way you got it off and all is well. Thanks for the great video and have a great day.

That 2 in 1 paint and primer is my favorite paint it has been durable for me this far, even when the surface wasn't necessarily prepped to well. It works great on plastic or metal.

good video as always. I can't stand faded wiper arms either. it was neat to see that your Yukon has Hydroboost. I figured that was a 6.0L thing, must be the SUVs with dual piston rear calipers also got hydroboost over the standard brake booster.

The screws in the dash is when someone took the that too of the dash off and the clips across the front of that panel probably broke so the put a screw in to hold them back on so it will slide back in to place, but they use to long of screw , I’ve glue those clips back on before

If you paint the grill black, you have to paint your wheels black as well. No other options. So either remove it or leave it alone.
