I fish them on the Arkansas river in south Kansas so we’ll on Big rooster tails and live shad on a bottom rig. Wb 1 to 2 lbs and wipers 6 to 8 lbs. crazy when you can see them or get them to bite but they are there

In my experience when they are schooling if u throw a crankbait and get it down under the top layer of fish you will catch bigger fish. Also use to use jigging slabs to get down to bigger fish

@@RiverCertified I'm about 2 hours east of KY Lake. So, I don't get to go there very often. But, I do fish at Barren River Lake, quite a bit. What you call wipers, Kentuckians call hybrids. Just a little fyi stuff there. Cubs playing Atlanta now. I don't think it's televised. Hey, in Sept. 1998, I was in Wrigley Field, 3rd base line, when Sammy Sosa hit homeruns 60, 61 and 62 vs. Milwaukee. I'm not joking! Go CUBBIES! Lots of Cub fans in southcentral KY.

I've never used too many diawa reels. I've heard good things though. I absolutely love my penn spinning reels. The fierce and battle are both awesome! I have 2 fierces and a battle and am gonna scoop up a fierce 1000 for ice fishing.
