A fish taco recipe we like is take an onion bell, peppers, zucchini, and squash and sauté them with cumin and your go to spices, really cook em down till the onions are translucent. Closer to the end throw in some cut up Roma tomatoes. Bake your filets on a baking sheet with butter and your favorite spices. Eat on soft taco shells, it is crazy good, especially if you like veggies! The squash and zucchini add a tremendous amount of flavor that you wouldn’t believe.

From the age of 5 up to about 12 we camped in the parking lot behind you and that's where I was taught the double rig 38 year's ago😅 Literally stood exactly where you we're learning how to catch white's and striper's. And it's only a 10 minute drive to whatta burger across from the college 😂 . At night time we would catfish on the sand and build a fire in front of the campground. Surprisingly that town is still fairly chill and quiet.

We used to catch tons of big white bass at the Ozark lock and dam this time of year. But I don't think I'd put my 17 foot bass boat in with that much current. Off the bank, OK. But it's scary in a small boat!

I fish around rip rap rock ( or whatever it’s called) a lot and I usually tie my stringer in the middle of a strong stick that’s about 2 feet long and stack a couple of rocks on the ends of it

White bass will strike anything shiny. Have caught hundreds of them on disscharge side or a power planr when the chase the shad. They love the white slabs. You will never go home hungry.

I just wish I could get out to fish. It's been raining and/or windy every stinkin' weekend! And I've been fighting a bad tooth. It's the rear molar on the right lower jaw. Went back to the dentist this evening. It's abcessed and I can either get a root canal and crown for over $800 or get it pulled for around $100. Well, I need to put a new set of tires on my car too. I think I can live without a molar.

Hey, something just dawned on me. You're not supposed to cook the taco shells, that's why when you bite they go everywhere and you need to use Ortega's. They're square on the bottom you tell him Jay

You heat pre-made shells 300° 6 to 7 minutes. If you cook them you know this, depends on how old you are, but if you or your mom Don't do that, you should 😆😆 Hot tortillas are much better and crunchier

What a great day on the water. I had a similar day when I was an OTR driver, at a lake in Illinois. Seemed like no matter what I threw, the white bass wanted everything. Your day would have to rank right up there at the top. I like that you finished out with some fresh fish tacos. I've tried it with the taco seasoning, but I also added a touch of the hot Slap Ya Mama, for a little extra kick. If you like a bite on the heat side, I've taken the hot sauce and added just a dab of the hot Chinese Wasabi (green). It really takes the hot sauce to another level. Really hope to see Jay back on the water with you soon. I know it's been a little tougher for her during this pregnancy, but we all miss her being out with you.
