off camera, i think it was the next day, i almost completely disassymbled the thing trying to do exactly that. i used a flat punch on the roller shaft, and was sorta gentle, and it would not move. i'm of the opinion it is a friction fit. i will mike it out and see a little later and will get back toyou. we have storms hitting and i don't want to get that stuff out and risk water damage so it will be later this week, hopefully. i can tell you i could not budge it with that punch and was hesitant to really slam down on it until i have to replace a cutter wheel.

what you did in the last 30sec. Looked backwards, wind the handle the other way and feed from other side.

Don't tighten the blade down to much and it won't cut so deep

i tried many variations on pressure, either no go, or it cut when it should not. i could not find balance. jude 3
