I have the same Stripmeister. I use a DeWalt 12v cordless drill that I permanently keep attached to it. I have three batteries that I cycle through, always having one charged and ready to go. I like this better than the one with a built motor. Drill was $50 on marketplace. A replacement motor from Stripmeister is a whole lot more if it fails. Plus mine is portable. You have to use it and get a feel for it to do a good job on stranded wire. I like to put the input feed far as low as I can on the wire before locking it in place. This keeps the wire right at the sweet feeding spot. Then you have to learn the ‘feel’ needed on adjusting the blade. To get it to just cut the insulation but not Turing your stranded wire into prickly porcupine strands. Once you get the feel for using it, I cruise through wire while listening to podcasts and drinking a cold one. It’s Therapeutic. Relaxing. Something about stripping wire that makes you forget all your troubles and stresses. Strip on bromeister!!! 👍🏼

Awesomeness, that's good stuff right there brother. Here in NC we get #2 price for any copper wire that's not stripped, anything stripped/cleaned of it's insulation is #1 whether it's stranded or solid core copper wire.
