Wire wrap pendant tutorial 'Ethan'.

Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make this pendant you will need -
• 0.8mm wire (20g), 2 x 11" (28cm)
• 0.315mm weaving wire (28g) 200cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
• teardrop cabochon, mine is 35mm by 18mm (you can use almost any shape or size, just remember to adjust wire length and weave repeats accordingly)
• Jump ring, 8mm outside measurement (or whatever size you have handy) I use 1.5mm wire (14) wire for my jump rings
I no longer put links to tools on here.
The tools I use are:
• Tronex needle nose pliers
• Tronex short round nose pliers
• Tronex razor flush cutters
• Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
• Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
• Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
• Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
• Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

Kelly, I just found your channel and your designs are beautiful. I didn't realize how small the wires are until I bought 20 and 4 gauge they didn't have 26. My first try of doing the long weave looks the same but kinda bent and weaving. I plan to use the weave as decorations n my Mini wooden bird house ornaments that I make. You are very inspiring! Greg

Hi Kelly, I just watched this tutorial for the first time today even though it's an older one, but it's funny that you mentioned your nails. I've been meaning to compliment you on your beautiful nails in your last couple tutorials, and ask how you manage to keep them so nice. My nails get shredded from all the wire work, esp. weaving. I always have to keep them short...or wear fake ones, lol!😁

Oh thank you so much, drink milk, if I don't drink milk every day my nails break, also, I've started talking evening primrose oil, and I haven't broke one since I started taking it, I know it's different for everyone and it could just be coincidence 🤷 also, use nail oil and push the cuticle skin down every day 😁 have fun and thanks again 🌸

So you do not pull tight when you are wrapping

You have to try and get an even tension, so the wire is a little tight, but not tight enough to pull the wires together. It does get easier over time 👍
