There is definitely enough room. I flipped the bike upside down took the battery out took out the metal bar underneath that metal bar is all the stock wires so I just ran the wires from the motor kit right next to him. Put the plate back on totally stealth.

Great vid. I like the addition to the cruiser rather than from factory. I have an ecells 5* just got it this weekend. Reason I like your setup is for the fact the motors are on separate setups. Better controll of motor dial-ins. Easier to get your individual desires from the setup. Just so all consumers understand, example here... having a 1500w rear and 1500w front motor does not give you 3000ws. Both motors although may be on 2 different controllers are still using the same display. If display or wiring goes bad, neither motor works. The dual motor system lessens the stress on either motor when used in tandem. The bigger benefit to Citizens setup is the individual tuning of each motor and in a "worse case" sinario, if one goes out,including display, you still have a way to make it home. I believe your setup is a better soltion than a factory dual motor ebike. Thank you for sharing with us. Hope your family is doing well.

I just got my new cruiser last Wednesday it came with wire stabilizers on the front fender, no more wiggle and the hellbender head set no wobble now I don’t ride no handed but I have one handed with no issues, with both batteries installed. Thank you for the recommendation of this bike it’s awesome for a larger old man such as myself

Like many I have a basic fat tire bike with a 48v 750 hub motor with a 22A controller. Ok performance but not great. Something with the performance of your front motor kit, but in a rear wheel upgrade package would interest me. Rear motor wheel, controller and display to make 750w bikes perform like 2000w bikes like the Wired.
@DaveGonzales-qz4ksАй бұрын
For the new Wired plus we need a kit that uses the existing 2 batteries like the Predator bike. Maybe motor , new control panel and rear front switch to get the same setup as the New Wired Predator. You the smartest guy develope this Kit.
@TheTcat1000Ай бұрын
You do not have to drill a hole on the one side there is room just to smoosh the wires in. They have protective coating on it so there’s no chance of pinching. It’s a tight fit, but it fits.

I'd love to see a standing start with the controller dialed in a little so that there isn't so much traction loss--I'm assuming it'd be even faster off the line! 😎

CitizenCycle I have a question for you !!! Do you have any idea which dual crown fork would be best suited for the Wired Freedom
@luigiprovencherАй бұрын
I'd want it to work with one of the two batteries that it already comes with instead of having to buy a third battery. Is there no 60V motor for the front? Or would you need a another device to lover the voltage coming from the battery for the motor that you sell?
@jimmyjames8736Ай бұрын
The motor can be run with a 60v battery. It would just require using a controller capable of higher voltage. A 60v controller could be used with the stock batteries.
@luigiprovencherАй бұрын
@@jimmyjames8736 The controller that it comes with is 45ah 60v so what are you saying that it would need a second one?
@jimmyjames8736Ай бұрын
@luigiprovencher Yes. Each hub motor runs on a separate controller. The bikes controller is a 60v controller. But the controller with the front wheel kit is a 52v controller. The capacitors in a 52v controller can not handle the full-charge voltage of a 60v battery. A 60v 35a controller would work well with Citizen's front wheel. He uses an easily available type of controller and display called KT (KunTeng). His KT LCD-8H display will work with a 60v battery. If you used a 60v controller with the front wheel, it will gain top speed. Citizen said the front wheel currently pulls to about 32mph on 52v. Switching to a 60v controller should let the front wheel pull to about 36mph.

What about the fork? That fork is not designed for a motor , they brake , very dangerous, so do you sell a fork for a motor preferred air fork or at the least an adjustable spring fork ? If so, you got my sale , the only reason I didn't upgrade is the fork. In the end I purchased an dual motor ebike
@TunaSodaАй бұрын
Yeah those RST Guide forks are garbage as it is
@CitizenCycle925Ай бұрын
I always use the rst guide forks for my dual motor conversions I've never broken a set. I did have to swap out the wired forks for a different kind of guide fork with open dropouts instead of the hole for through axle. In the near future I'm also going to be selling a double crown air fork that will work with my kit

Hey CC, thanks for your great content. I looked at the website and it looks like the Cruiser is quite a bit smaller than the Freedom. Is that the case? The website is pretty inaccurate on some things so I was wondering if the specs geometry portion was correct. I had the Freedom but sold it and I’d like the Cruiser step thru but I’m very tall so the lower handlebars etc are much smaller on the specs page. Any help on that would be appreciated greatly!

@rvboondocker2559 the cruiser is not really any smaller than the freedom. I see that spec sheet on their website and it's pretty incorrect. The handlebars are the same height the seat is the same height. the cruiser still a very big bike just has the convenience of the step through

There are no issues with overheating, Wired has sold thousands and there is no problem. Just BS from the criminal enterprise known as e cells which was founded by an ex con and who has slandered Wired incessantly. Cleveland claims the contoller overheats because his bike has 1000 less watts and is more expensive. The dual star bikes have a horrible death wobble and the company has an F rating from the BBB. Guess who puts their controllers inside of the bike frames? E cells. What a piece of poop.
