Pro boxers jump rope for fitness. She can do 6 minutes of triples. To do that would smash most of those guys. It's very impressive.

I'm 51. I picked up a jump rope 2 years ago to rehab my ankle. Now I'm doing cross overs, heel toe, boxer step, run step and more. I'm no Tori Boggs but I'm getting there. It's definitely a fun workout that kills your whole body. But it does take time and patience. I suggest any one starting start with a beaded rope. And jump for maybe 5min a day for may be 3 days a week till your body gets use to it to avoid injuries. Cause it is killer.

I grew up in the same town as her and even though she’s 6 years older than me I remember hearing about her accomplishments even when I was in high school. My junior year she was on Ellen and the whole town was talking about it. She’s amazing!

@@donmiller2908 actually, my point was that, it’s crazy how in a small town I didn’t know how good she was for 15 plus years. I didn’t even know she existed until I was 16. I don’t personally know her so I’m not trying to say that I knew someone famous or anything. If I wanted to do that I would say “I graduated with miss WV USA 2021” but I didn’t :)

It's always so satisfying to listen and to see an expert doing what she loves making it look so easy, effortless and fun, Taking into account that I could never do it. As an Army medic, I've drawn athletes' blood before; their veinous blood can scare you into thinking you hit an artery. I've taken their vitals, they breathe only a few times every minute and their hearts beat like every other second. I can't imagine what her nurses think about her vitals.

Right?! Back before I became quite a bit lazier than I should admit. I was a pretty sought after highschool running back and ice hockey goalie running at least 5 miles 7 days a week and swimming laps for 6 hours a week my resting was right around 50 bpm now though ..... It's about 88

It can be really hard and athletic but can also be simple and a great aerobic conditioner. I was doing tricks decades ago but now I just do a simple workout. Speed skipping, crossovers, and double jumps.

I agree, Practice/Repetition is how you get good at something. Perseverance is much more important than natural talent. Nobody got to the top of their game without putting in thousands of hours... Plenty have gotten there without any innate talent.

That was Literally Awesome ! I use to jump rope for fitness, a regular rope, found a heavy 1 inch rope around, then got a steel rope, rode a mountain bike, in the hills for an hour or so, made a pull up bar, I had a few free weights, l was never in better shape, I Loved that jumping rope, it was simple, fun to Miss Tory has inspired me to start again, I Thouroghly enjoyed watching the Level of Excellence of that Young Woman

I was a tall kid, so I never got to jump robe much, because the ropes were always too small. I could still do it, but it was uncomfortable having to make myself smaller.

I saw her covered on my local television couple of days ago and now YT recommended me this video. She must have a really strong femur and fibula bones, considering rope skipping despite simple, is a high impact sport with plenty of repetitions. I heard sometimes she spent 10 hours jumping ropes in a day, I might misheard it but even lesser that's hardcore!
