Been a Taika fan ever since the Conchords radio shows on the BBC, funny to see him so successful now. What we do in the shadows is his best project for me !

He did make a cameo in James Gunn The Suicide Squad, it was pretty funny when he randomly popped up on screen.

This sounds like the kind of guy you could have a beer with while watching the local sports team get their asses handed to them on the TV. A fine actor and director who doesn't take himself too seriously. 😎👍

never have i ever thought someone would describe bridgerton as 'M.A.S.H but in the 1700s" and be right about it, yet here we are

I thought I was the only one to catch that (for context I've only seen clips of Bridgerton but I've seen lots of episodes of M*A*S*H* 😂)

I looked up this guy because I just saw "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" and I LOVED it. I can and appreciate his humor and fully understand he wrote and directed this movie. Thank you for this movie. The comedy and serious mix was so well balanced and it was so funny and yet serious at the same time. The changing directions and the feel good ending. It has been a while I have seen a movie I enjoyed so much. Thank you for making it.

Loren Taylor (previously Loren Horsley) was the best part of 'Eagle vs Shark'. Good to hear her name. She starred in the movie and also co-wrote it. (Taika got the year wrong, though. It was released in 2007, not 2005.) 🦅 vs🦈

Eagle vs Shark was so uncomfortable, and honest, and endearing I saw it a couple years after it hit DVD, and I remember watching an interview of Taika saying "I don't know the rules for romance movies. So I just did whatever I wanted" Then I saw him again in an interview for Thor Ragnarok, and felt like my life came full circle haha

Loooool. Being a bumbling campy idiot is not Thor's true potential. xD

@@Khazandar He is nowhere close to being a bumbling campy idiot. Not even close. He's being enthusiastic. And he was far more of a badass than all of his previous appearances combined thanks to Taika.
