This actually made alot of sense. I caught a couple last week on small swimming flukes and they inhaled them. It was 30 degrees out and windy but they were right up on the bank warming or something

Fishing early November in New England we found bass surprisingly shallow. Dark bottoms were the pattern, and the ledge that mark describes can be shallow too. It was a matter of light penetration more than temperature it seemed.

Lol season is essentially over for me in mass. The super cold mornings that start in November have frozen up the banks, pockets, and lay down areas.

What do you mean they can't see at night to feed? That's why I catch some of my biggest bass in night tournaments during the summer? 😆

bc bass are lethargic during the colder months. they’re not gonna be chasing food the way they do during the summer months, where they can do that during the day & night bc of warmer water temps.
