No the JBL has its own battery built in. This is actually an older video. I’ve since upgraded to the JBL EON ONE MKII.

How is the system performing in 2023? Are you still using the same setup? Does the Halo bolt power everything? the 2 Sennheiser mics and mixer? How long does the Halo Bolt last powering everything (mics & mixer)? Great setup! I'm redoing my and i came across your 2021 video

I was about to ask the same thing- does he still run this setup? I got the jackery 300 - im not super impressed with it but itll run my ceremony for an hour. That halo bolt thing is nice because it fits in a rack but have no idea on how it performs.

I go back and forth between the halo and the jackery. I think the key is getting a speaker that’s battery powered. I’m loving the Everse 8 and 12.

It shouldn’t matter. The mixer is set to mono so it’s sending the same signal to either side.

I had issues with the halo bolt I bought. It wouldn’t power up my Evolve 30m.

@@DJLoStax is the key to connect not directly the halo to the speaker?? Because I went from halo bolt to speaker, nothing, then halo bolt to a splitter surge power protector that connected to my wireless mic system and my speaker and failed as well. Help?

I went with the Togo 350 power bank. I'll try it next week at an outdoor ceremony. It has a read out and indicated I have 12 hours of use with my rack.

Never tested but I’ve done 3 ceremonies without recharging it and it was still over halfway.

Can you get right-angle plugs and leave them attached to the mixer?

I could probably find some or adapters but it only takes me a few seconds to plug the 3 cables in.
