Could this be the best burger in Wisconsin? I can tell you that it has to be up there near the top! Bob's Bad Breath Burger is on the menu at the Weary Traveler Freehouse in Madison, Wisconsin. The toppings seem a bit strange, but once you try this burger, you'll get it!
Green Goddess Dressing Recipe:
Ingredients
1 Cup Fresh herbs of choice lightly packed; I used chives, basil, dill, and parsley!
2 Tablespoons Tarragon Leaves
1 Cup Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 Cloves Garlic mashed
1 tablespoons capers
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
To make this dressing, simply add all of your ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth, making sure to leave small chunks of herbs for some texture and flavor!
Once done, store your dressing in an airtight container, in the fridge, for up to one week. Enjoy!

Thanks for pinning this Greg, I had only ever seen this dressing in passing as a salad type dressing sold by Kraft or other brands and would never have even thought to have bought/tried it. The flavours and aromas that come out when using fresh herbs are unbeatable, tarragon is a great one to work with. Definitely looking forward to trying this one out. Cheers!

I have been enjoying this burger at the Weary Traveler for 20 years. There is one fundamental thing missing from this recipe. Pressed garlic and finely minced chives are folded in to the ground meat before they hand form the patty. Also they use about half of the cream cheese that you used and there are spring mix greens you can add when your burger shows up. Great job Greg! Always a pleasure to watch your burger videos. 👌🏻

I love cream cheese, but never thought to put it on a burger. Yesterday, in Tijeras, New Mexico, I had a Chile Relleno burger at a little burger joint called, "Burger Boy". Man, it was good! I had cheese running out of the chile relleno and down my chin. Their beer battered onion rings were pretty tasty, too.

It might be more interesting to add the pepper sauce on top of the cream cheese so that both ingredients mix together. 👍🏻

You had the perfect kitchen tool in your hand to remove the mayonnaise, but you used the handle instead of the business end. Why? 🤷🏻‍♂️😁 If you coat the bowl with a generous amount of oil, you won’t need a spatula. The mayonnaise will slide right out on its own. Cool video!

Interesting burger, Greg. I really enjoy pickapeppa sauce, so I'll definitely attempt to make this... probably half the cream cheese, but I'll cold-smoke it to add another flavor variable. Thanks..👍

Sup Greg, wow crazy burger lol, but your a burger god so trust you. Some herbs I wouldn't buy, I'll use my green goddess dressing (well daughters lol uses white wine vinegar). Love cream cheese and surprised I never put on a burger 🤔, with bite of dressing hmm. Maybe less cream cheese lol. Really making sense or I'm loosing it more🧟😂🤣. One of most interesting burgers you've done. Caramelized onions and garlic can make big batch, last week or more in fridge, but never there that long lol. More freaky burgers👍🏼, Amazing bro, tyvm tc 🍔

I love watching your videos. We live a couple hours north of you near Wrightwood (ski area in the mountains north of Rancho Cucamonga). Greg, I have the same cream cheese opinion in general. However, I wonder how a veggie cream cheese would add to this burger? A thinner slab of course. I love the dressing, the caramelized onions and garlic, and the hot sauce is a must try! Less is more definitely applies to cream cheese on burgers.

Here in Minnesota we have many restaurants/bars who have the jalapeño cream cheese burger. Along with famous Juicy Lucy burgers. Lets gooooo!!!

@Balistic Burgers Hi Greg, i kinda get where your going with the tomato that its just kinda there... i think it'd play a much bigger role with a tiny bit of salt and pepper.. tomatoes always need some salt and pepper... i think ti sill combine beatifully with the creamcheese.. btw, didn't the tom\ato give a bit of acidic relief from the richness of the cheese and mayo in the sauce.. guess thats wat its there for :D

Instead of the cream cheese, I would use a mild bright cheese. A mild one, not sure if a white cheddar is too sharp already, probably. Or maybe just a smear of cream cheese on the bottom bun will give a bit of freshness. Garlic confit mixed with cream cheese instead of adding it to the caramelization process?! As you have said, Greg, a shredded lettuce (maybe iceberg) will give a different texture. I don't want to talk this burger dead now, so I stop with my creativity 😀

If you put the cream cheese on top of the beef patty instead of the onions, the cream cheese wont slide out so easy. The onions act like a lubricant to let the cheese slide off.

Super burger Rezept. Genau. Hackfleisch ist kein Steak. Also etwas länger. Frischkäse ist beinuns nur streichbar zu kaufen. Diese Konsistenz kenne ich nicht! 👍👍👍🇩🇪

Seems to me that the huge slice of cream cheese would be very overwhelming. Wondering if you were to replace it with at most, half the portion and use Mascarpone instead?

@@BallisticBurgers I absolutely agree! The only reason I suggested to use Mascarpone is that it isnt quite as rich, and it has more of a buttery flavor and it is much smoother.

@BallisticBurgers I saw a Jalapeño Popper Burger that had Cream Cheese. But the Cream Cheese pairs with the the Jalapeño Popper part of the burger. I might try to put a smear on the bun of my next Burger.

I did the Squeeze in years ago on Ballistic BBQ channel. Funny story, I went there a few months after the video posted and the owner had seen the video and recognized me. He actually let me come behind the counter and cook my own burger. Very cool!

It is cray, cray. But it was good, and like I said in the video, a little less cream cheese and it would be perfect. As far as multiple adornments, other than the cream cheese it was just cheese, tomato, onions and the sauce. Pretty standard fare. Cheers!

You're correct that a lot of trolls leave Yelp reviews (sort of like KZbin comments). However, sometimes there are burgers out there that I am trying to copy that don't have a very big online footprint and this was one of them. I needed to look at photos and read comments to get a lot of the info I needed.
