Finally someone described it technically for me. This video is an educational piece about the human mind. I will come back to it often.

John Vervaeke has that effect on me often. His lecture series "awakening from the meaning crisis" is packed with gems like this.

So intelligence is what, how and where. And wisdom is the why, why not and when. Just my take on it. Im a simple thinker.

Unfortunately talking about cognition is hard because cognition is how we perceive the world so we rarely discuss it, therefore we don't have the words. Colloquial vocabulary doesn't have the necessary terms to discuss cognitive science. Instead he uses metaphors and philosophical language, because a lot of this was the subject of philosophy before cognitive science. If the answer to "what is wisdom" was easy, nobody would be asking it. The other thing is that Lex understands him so he's adjusting. Go watch his Cambridge lecture, it's much more down to earth.

The sensory motor loop he describes is expressed most directly and profoundly in metaphorical cognition, in which patterns from perceptual life, such as balancing, holding, seeing, walking, are brought into mature cognition and used as ways of thinking about morality, meaning, politics, etc. We experience thinking as a step-by-step process, i.e. walking. We construct governments with a balance of powers, bringing the bodily experience of balancing up into abstract thought. Notice it almost every single thing he says, and we say, is expressed in these metaphors.

1. Just keep overcoming wisdom until foolishness reveals itself. 2. Two Greeks and two Jews who have come to talk to you will talk to you and tell you about me. 3. Don't listen to them. 4. Decide what you want and make it up.

Here ill disagree with the assumption that's its evolving. Subjective beilef that something is optimal over anything. For example automobile of 1930 can drive on any terrain but your telsa will not drive on 1930 wagon trail roads it isn't a better evolutionary selection of advancement for all roads or ages in time. It's not advancing or evolving we can't say that one is better or greater than the other. Those who goes crazy and over over load clearly don't improve and it was no selective evolving. It's to many examples of this.

Evolution means to grow conscious of itself therefore the Universe grows conscious of itself as proof of itself because this Universe repeats itself as the process to grow conscious of itself as proof of itself, I always have and always will rewrite this same exact comment, eternity never changes itself because it repeats itself as self eternal knowledge as proof of itself.

That's because he doesn't water down anything for the audience. He always talks like he's conversing with someone else steeped in cognition theory for 30 years. Obviously that's not always a good thing, like if you'd like to get your point across to someone who is not also a walking cognition theory textbook.
