I suspect I will not get a response .. but whatever. I owned a Neos and several years ago I got a Wise 2086. A few years later I bought a Babolat 5 Star so I stored away the Wise and just used the crank with the Neos which I travelled with. I was thinking about selling the Wise and I turned it on and keep getting a flashing 3. I turned on and off several times and it was fine. The next time I turned it on back to the flashing 3. I am trying to find what that means on the internet but not having any luck.

I have no idea of what your problem may be. If I were you I would cal Wise and talk to them.

@@Mr10sStringer It turns out error code 3 means the diagnostic test did not complete in time. So to get around this, I turn the unit on and let it run a bit and then turn it off. Then when I turn it on again it does not have to travel as far and no more error code 3.

how much do want for the tennishead?
@irvinfuchs323810 жыл бұрын
You can go through Wise directly or go through Tennis Warehouse. I believe though TW has them on back order until sometime in May.

Do they still sell the Wise 2086 tensioner?
@dougho52779 ай бұрын
So if the diablo was still on your Wise, then the adaptor attachment piece is not required correct?
@Mr10sStringer9 ай бұрын
I assume you’re talking about the Gamma adapter. No it is not needed.

I have just bought a new Wise 2086 I put in a 44lbs setting when I pull at 44 my scale shows 45.7 lbs What can you suggest I should do it seems to be that it is pulling higher tension than what is shown in the machine
@Mr10sStringer2 жыл бұрын
Call Wise and they’ll give you the calibration procedure

if you want 44 in the stringbed, after tying all the knots and you take the racket off the stringer, then add 5 % tension when stringing. in the first 24 hours the stringbed loses 10 percent tension.

can u the wise tensioner on a klippermate stringer machine
@Mr10sStringer6 жыл бұрын
Ty Rey probably but you would have to have a drop weight adapter which is about $20 USD
@Mr10sStringer6 жыл бұрын
Ty Rey I think so but you must have a drop weight adapter

Would you recommend adding a tension head to a stringing machine rather than buying an electric machine with it all built in? Is it a case of price or quality? Thanks
@irvinfuchs323810 жыл бұрын
Wow good question that would depend on the add on or machine you were considering. I think my preference would be an electronic machine no no particular reason
@benjaminjensen111 Жыл бұрын
if you already have a stringing machine (dropweight or crank) then ofcourse adding the electronic machine. the "all built in" are mostly just what you have already plus a electronic tensioner.

Do you have the box dimensions and weight? i am considering shipping costs.

Those digital fishing scales are notoriously inaccurate. Cheap electronics, cheap mechanism, not calibrated well from factory, wide manufacturing tolerance etc. Not a good choice for trying to calibrate a stringing machine.
@irvinfuchs323810 жыл бұрын
You can't calibrate a Wise and the scales were always very close to the Wise load cell readout and always consistently the same.
@googlereviewer194410 жыл бұрын
Irvin Fuchs If you can't calibrate the Wise head, what's the point of using some digital fishing scales? You could buy 10 of those scales, some will be close, some less so, some spot on etc. Manufacturing consistency isn't high as they're not designed for high accuracy. If you want to do it properly, get some calibration weights and then adjust the tension setting on the machine as necessary using a cable (not tennis string) with minimal stretch to reach the tension head.
@irvinfuchs323810 жыл бұрын
My analog scales were very inaccurate and cost 5 times the price.
@irvinfuchs323810 жыл бұрын
Also I like to check the tension from time to time to verify tension.
@googlereviewer194410 жыл бұрын
Irvin Fuchs You can't verify anything with scales that you don't even know are accurate or not. It's just a false peace of mind.
