and since British Motor Heritage makes brand new mini shells (and replacement panels) you could make a brand new electric mini from scratch !

Nicely done conversion, except (despite what's said around 16' in) the dashboard fails to echo the original correctly. And that's so much part of what makes a classic mini. What a mistake, such a shame!
