Here’s Element RC’s third Bushido offering: bit.ly/3OIi5BW The first two were just different by body color, but this Bushido carries a “+” at the end of its name and that’s because there are some changes to the 4x4 off-road ready to run. There's always room for improvement, and with Element there's no exceptions. I bought the original on eBay (roller) in "new" condition. But I went ahead and bought the wheels/tires, and electronics from the same seller. The Bushido body was painted with Krylon Fusion paints. I think I nailed the color because it looks like it came from the factory as a RTR. Love the Bushido!

The throttle modulation with the FlySky ESC does look better than the Reedy. My biggest complaint about my Element RCs, is the poor initial throttle control on the old and new Reedy ESC they put in those. So having a 2 in 1 FlySky is actually an improvement here it seems. Nice area!

You wouldn’t believe how many times I run back and forth from the workshop to the office to get extra video clips to help show different things. Glad to hear it’s worth it. 😃

I always like seeing your trucks in this spot by the lake 👍 My Bushido (Green one) is always with me weekly up on the mesas in west Colorado. Awesome little truck

Thanks! It’s a great spot for trails and just 4 minutes from my house. Better in the spring and summer without leaves, but I still had a great time with the Bushido.

I think if you just get another spare tire lexan insert and just put them together it will be a lightweight solution to keeping the cover from being pushed in.

Possibly, but I have a ton of inserts kicking around the shop and they’re pretty light or can be cut up to be even lighter and still offer support.

It’s a good looking rig, it’s a shame with that rear light bucket bracing and the moulded front grille that they didn’t do hidden clips like Axial did with the early Bronco and CJ7, or do something similar to the Traxxas body mount

I have a real 1988 Suzuki samurai and just ordered my bishido sadly the new viesion doesn’t match my paint but I’ll take care of that later but just looking from photos the new version does look amazingly identical to what the car looks like irl the old version seemed a bit too low like the top half was too short can’t wait to get my mini Sammy 🎉

Hate that it’s a 2-in-1 ESC/RX I was hoping to get one and keep it a real economical rig with a short wheel base and just drop in a RX and run it from my Futaba 4pm. Oh well guess I can stick a Holmes BR mini in it and get some better low speed

People you cannot judge this as a advertised crawler it’s a trail truck the Ecto on the other hand is a straight up performance crawler & very capable but not so much a trail truck that’s why Element has different models people & the price compared to other brands is not bad I make the same judgment when I take out some of my Crawlers/Trail trucks I get frustrated because even upgraded certain models don’t climb as well but I’m comparing them to LCG or custom builds that are set up to crawl up anything so I have to remind myself it’s more of a trail truck & then I have fun again & drive it different kind of more scale I guess. So my TRX 4 Bronco being compared to my Interceptor build can’t really be compared they are in a different class.
