It was ok. Set up for sequels. No point yelling at the people to get out because they never listen. In the dark, the viewer is adding the context. Not a nail biter but you can't stop watching. I am sorry for his friend and anyone else coming for a relaxing vacation.

I really hope this film isnt shot in darkness & loud growling screeching & howls, which always suggests to me that the film doesnt have much & the less you see of it the film directors are relying on your sense of quality imagination. This saves them the job of making a coherent film & plot. Hmm i shall reserve judgement & give it 45 mins or so & see if its worth sticking with! Cheers 🇬🇧👧

There was a lot of horror-atmospheric music all the way through but nothing much happened visually to justify this until nearly at the end. The director was relying upon the music and sound effects to create a sense of horror.

The camerawork is good but the editing is very amateur and the inexperienced actors need more direction. The early sequence in the store is just unnecessary padding and the scenes with the leads boss and the phone conversation with his father unrealistic. I gave up 10 minutes later.

so this dude has a computer, but not cell service at the inn.. and he takes his SD card into the HARDWARE store to get his pictures "developed." right... then he hears stuff breaking inside the house, grabs the LOADE RIFLE (can you say "insurance liability"?) and goes outside to find the problem....

I watch cinemasins and I notice loads more inaccurate things than ever I've always noticed continuitie errors like one shot a drink on a bar almost empty then cut away and back and its gone 2 3rds up but now cuz ot that show I started seeing loads of things most don't matter if it's a good movie and theirs only a couple bit errors like you mentioned are just stupid cuz people really notice if a phone won't get reception neither will a laptop!! Sounds like it was recorded on a cassette recorder . Post sound production? Filters , compression , mikes are too close , the acting with the star wasn't bad. The subject matter wasn't bad. Things have to be miked and mixed at a level that sounds seemless . Not with hiss in the background. The film also moves too slow.
