She put a lot of effort into ensuring the victory at Vergen and Upper Aedirn's independence, but went one step too far using Saskia that way at Loc Muinne. At times she might act selfishly or misguided, but her redeeming quality is that she usually pushes for the greater good.

What Ciri never seems to get that she's the linchpin of the entire plan. If Eredin lays a hand on her, it's all over. Her desire to help is admirable, but her falling into the Wild Hunt's hands would immediately negate any good deed she's done. And she's escaped the Hunt just by a hair every time.

+General Grievous I prefer the one on one battle. They could've given him more moves to use. Final boss fights that mostly consists of the boss summoning hordes of mobs that just overwhelm you with death by a thousand small cuts are more annoying than engaging and only add artificial difficulty. It's fine in games where you have a lot of crowd control techniques at your disposal, but Geralt only has Aard and Yrden for that. The format of the battle against Eredin was fine, they should've just made the latter stronger.

What I love about Eredin's fight is how STORY-DRIVEN I personally think it is, because if you play both the first and the second games, you'll know that Geralt has had beef with the Wild Hunt for the entirety of the games. Mainly with Witcher 2, where he talks about The Wild Hunt and what they did to him before he lost his memory through flashbacks of his recovering memory. (took Yennefer and all that) This is basically what Geralt's journey in all 3 games has led up to. Killing Eredin. Also, Eredin kills you, that'll be IT, Eredin would most likely get to Ciri and achieve his goals. So, if you know the story leading UP to this fight, I think you appreciate it alot more for the plot-driven action and tension of the consequences if you die by Eredin's blade, rather than the difficulty of the duel. Also, the fucking music, do I need to say anything about the music?

After starting NG+ I decided to spice the things up a little and go on the death march without changing the equipment from the end of the last playthrough. Everything seemed pretty manageable until Eredin fight. The dude is piss easy on anything except the death march. The one-shot mechanics after you've made a small mistake are just too brutal but I was able to pull through after roughly an hour of trying to beat his ass. Yen before the fight: Just don't get yourself killed. Me after getting killed 30 times: Well, shit.

That kinda makes sense, though. Just because Eredin is the king doesn't mean he's a great fighter. He's much more of a backstabber/plotter (hence him murdering the previous king so he could take power). He leaves most of the fighting at Kaer Morhen to Imlerith and Caranthir, too, since they're better at it.

I always thought Crach went down like a real badass. I mean, the Skelligans tell stories about the Wild Hunt. From Crach's point of view, he's dealing with a limitless army of undead supersoldiers, the ones that will bring about Raag na Rogh and destroy the world as we know it. And his response upon being mortally wounded is an attempt to split their king's skull open with an axe. That takes balls of Skelligan steel.

To me, the definite boss fight of the game was Imlerith. When I fought him I was pretty much the same level that the quest asked you to be so it was tougher and took longer but also felt way more personal. I think I was like, what, level 34 when I fought Eredin and leveled to 35 after beating him. The ending didn't do nearly enough justice to the game after having played 112 hours on my first playthrough until finishing the story. I mean I got every major plotline go the way I wanted except for the Baron, got the "best" ending for Ciri and romanced Triss among other things but I still feel depressed after finishing the game lmao. Such an experience.

Geralt kicking his sword away is so brutal, but naturally understandable.. he loathes Eredin with a passion. But even so, I still feel sorry for Eredin as he's dying, even if he's clearly not afraid of death.

Feeling sorry for his death, and feeling pity for him as he's DYING are two different things. I didn't sit there and feel sorry for him for much longer than how long the cutscene lasted. Geralt killing him was LONG overdue, the bastard was the reason Vesemir died.

So Ciri enters a tower which has a portal to the Whit Frost in order to stop it from destroying all worlds, I’m surprised no one is getting a Dark Tower feel for this. Actually come to think of it, this game has a lot of similarity with that novel, a few examples are: A very powerful menace that seeks destruction by the name of Walter O’Dim(the Man in Black)=Gaunter O’Dim The previously mentioned similarity of the Tower Even the main characters names: Garelt of Rivia=Roland of Gilead, both apart of an elite group of warriors that were originated to keep the world safe from whatever threat there is. Plus I really do hope that CDProjektRed makes a Dark Tower game one day, I’d imagine it would be epic.

Since Witcher 3 is the end of Geralt's story, I really hope that the future of the Witcher series of video games would focus on Ciri's story either as a prequel of Witcher 1 (before the scene of Geralt running away in the forest), an interquel (Ciri's side of the story during Witcher 1 and Witcher 2), or a direct sequel (the continuation of Ciri's story after Witcher 3, with Geralt appearing in a supportingg character role)

+Frodo Bolbo Not really. Imlerith is more pattern bound and especially slow and easy to dodge before he goes down to 20% Afterwards you just dodge and get your hit in when his mace gets stuck. Eredin uses a few fast sword combos that don't deal a lot of damage on lower difficulties, but rack up quickly on death march.

In Main Story Mode - I prefer kaer morhan battle scene. In Heart of Stone - The Heist Scene & The Rescue from toad prince killed crime And in Blood and wine - 1. My fav the knight for hire 15 missions are best & 2. The Last Detlaff Fight & another one that professor mutation upgrade quest
