You've got to try a bunch of them! I drive to a few on the days I thrift ( when things were open) I normally have to drive into the nicer areas, they have bomb stuff!

It's weird, but we use ketchup to shine brass in older homes. They turn out beautiful.

panda princess it’s because tomatoes are acidic. Believe it or not up until the Victorian era people actually thought tomatoes were poisonous because so many people died after eating them; but they were eating them off of lead plates and the tomatoes would strip and soak up the lead.

Hello new subscriber from the Uk. Our second stores are not that good where I live as I live in a poor Borough in London. I do like to go second shops if we are in nice area’s. I am new to all of this, I used to burn incense. When I was teenager much to the annoyance of my parents. I am worried if I do cleaning with sage that my Mum, Dad and my sons presents will go. So I wondering how to get rid of negativity in house without that happening..? I love having them here it’s a comfort to me. I have been interested in witchcraft, I do my tarot sometimes. I don’t know as I got older there something that’s calling me. I love crystals and sleep with a Moon and Quartz Crystal under pillow. I love plants and talk to my Fig tree and always thank her for fruit. The same when I grow anything from seed always thank them. I am glad there are people to ask questions. My mum has been using Brasso for YEARS! Mum & her side of family is English, so we have a ton (tonne) of brasses. There was always a can of Brasso and Silv-o under the sink for cleaning.

I love thrifting! Pretty much 3/4 of my things are all thrifted. I don't really do any kind of cleansing spells on anything because I can usually feel the energy on an object and if it will mesh well with me and my life. Old energy is an incredibly powerful natural force, and I'd rather not waste it trying to replace it with my own energy. Some things, of course, absolutely have to be new and unused, but thrifted items and their old energy are meant to be felt and used over and over again.

3:30 Don't know much about that bowl, but you might want to check for any watermarks on it, it could be a Waterford piece, valuable. GREAT tip at the outset about cleansing anything you bring into your house, either for personal or spiritual purpose. I've had a few spirits attempt to attach & come home with me! Your last item looks like the candle holders I have for my Goddess/God candles, I got mine @ Michael's years ago, that one looked like it been painted. You have some great energy!
