As a Akita owner 4 life I completely agree he's been well socialized and everything .Well done for the owners he just took it like a champ .I will say this he's got excellent markings like the color on him.Big best head whole works .One thing I do like about the Akitas they are true companions and loyal to their owners no questions about that.

That's my KT!! We love her so much! We just had to take a pic of our her in her new Girl with the Dogs bandana! Kt is a good girl of 1 year and 2 months. She is a lab mix, but we have no idea with what. We got her at 8 weeks from an unscrupulous FB market place seller. A week later we took her to the vet and found she had parvo. Two days inpatient and 4000 dollars later, she came home and made her home in our hearts. I am so glad we saved her! We love watching your channel and all your wonderful work with rescues that you so selflessly provide.

What a great dog! I used to know an Akita, who I loved dearly, but he was very standoffish to strangers and had his own timetable for when you would be welcomed into his circle. Sure miss that big boi - RIP Tundra. The beautiful pet you groomed today made me reminisce.

10/10 for his owners. They must have researched the top breeder and spent a _lot_ of time training him. Considering that was his first ever groom, and neither owner needed to be present to calm him, they've done an outstanding job and got a stunningly handsome, outstanding dog. I think we should wait until his second appointment to see what he's really like though!

I don’t have dogs but I have a chonk of a cat and tho her anxiety would never allow for such an experience, I take point from you in getting some of these tasks done myself and they’ve proven quite successful. when you have big dense floofers on the channel like this handsome boy, I always think about how nice it must feel for him to get a proper deep clean and brushing out. My pup isn't a shedder or a big fluffy dog and I can still see the difference in his mood afterwards, he clearly feels so much better and lighter when he gets a bath and haircut. I can only imagine how nice it must feel for dogs with such dense fur, it must feel so lovely to get the water on their skin and get a good ol brush through.

What a good boy ... I had an Akita Malamute and she was outstanding when it came to grooming and most of her behavior ... her one Achille's heel was recall .... and boy, when she wanted to go, she went!!! Never off the leash unless there was a fence or she was in the house.

Wow! Kudos to Haru's humans and breeder for raising such an incredibly well mannered gentle giant! Haru is an impeccable ambassador not just for American Akitas but for large dogs (for people who many be intimidated by them) as well.
