This is absolutely profound, and I had not known the language to describe these things. Lately I've been very interested in Apologetics, as a way to gain a deeper knowledge of why I believe what I believe about Christ. I am so appreciative about the level of transparency in this Podcast, and it is really educating me about how I can use my gift of communication to lead people to Christ.

@RCGWho8 ай бұрын
But don't let the term force it down their throat stop you. My Dad wasn't a Christian, and he'd say that often even when my Mom was saying nothing about the Lord. He was just under conviction. It caused me to grow up and virtually never witness cuz I knew nobody wanted the Gospel "shoved down their throat. " Want it or not, they need it. That lie of the enemy effectively muzzled me. Should you back off if they flip out, want to argue , or otherwise shut down the conversation, sure.

I just want to share this to whoever may see this. I have been following Jackie Hill Perry for only a couple month and her content is what I've been consuming the most. Especially With the Perry's. For this month in particular, ever trial and testing I've been going through. Any little worry I have, God has been supernaturally putting me in contact with their content that relates to it. Me and my boyfriend been having frequent arguments and then I saw their collab on Conflict. Hit me like a ton of bricks, the deeper meaning of dying to self. Today was another blow. Because I have been hardcore talking in my heart with God about reaching my close girlfriend about her faith. I've been scared. Scared that she will run when I have her so close. Then I see this the very next day. The way God is speaking to me through these videos makes me want to cry. Its really touching for me and I am glad that they are still In Tune God fearing people out there that could touch a young girl from the small island of Antigua 🇦🇬.

I will be purchasing Preston’s book. I have a cousin that told me recently that I planted a seed in him 30 yrs ago and he’s just now fully understanding what it is to follow Christ. At the time I wasn’t near the Christian I am today but that seed God used and brought him to Jesus. At the time he had all kinds of issues and today he has repented and I can truly see Christ working in his heart. So I will say this, being heartless to anyone’s situation isn’t Jesus. Although Jesus did tell ppl to go and sin no more, He was never hurtful to anyone other than the Pharisees (but we know why, they pretended to love God but inside their heart God wasn’t really there but there was pride and greed). I appreciate you both so much taking time out to do these videos, write spirit filled books and just standing for Christ in a world where ppl need Him most. I witness to a lot and ppl I know, but I too would love to witness to strangers. So hopefully Preston’s book will help me get there. May God continue to cover, protect and bless your family.

Not being able to properly minister to my family is the hardest thing. Because majority of my family have not really read the Bible just they believe in God and pray but no real understanding of God's word. Then when I try to minister to them I tend to feel like a failure people outside of my family reach out thanking me for my faith because it inspired them my own flesh blood just makes excuses for my cousins to give me the cold shoulder "Oh, well they probably think you were going to judge them." I haven't said anything to one my cousins since 2014 when I gifted her book on purity for her 16th birthday and my grandma told my mom they said I was "Forcing my faith on them." I can't even tell a family member’s yes prayer is important but you need to read more than Jesus is calling books but the actual Bible without them getting mad and calling me judgmental out of context. Ministering to your family is the hardest thing especially ones that claim to be Christian already.

Especially, when you have watched the teen (now adult) love Jesus but has since walked away. How, how, how, do I even begin that conversation my heart is heavy. I know to pray for them but I also don't want to keep bringing the same prayer to God because in my brain I don't want God to think I do not trust Him with my prayer and that my prayers are repetitive. And I also understand I may never see my prayer answered this side of Heaven. I shall end with a simple Thank you to the both of you...for all you are doing for the Kingdom of God.
