Majority of hmong people in Laos are finding ways to con the hmong Americans and even the Hmong Americans here are going back for all the wrong reasons. I have to say I am very proud to be Hmong. A lot of folks look down on us because they say we dont' have a country, or we don't know our origin. That may be somewhat true, but the fact of the matter is through time WE HMONGS ARE STILL HERE. The loyalist Lao came to America with Vang Pao's Hmong, we were allies and friends then. But now this younger Lao American generation are turning against Hmong Americans. They say Hmong are the only enemy of Laos. They don't acknowledge to have fought in the war on our side. And because they are ethnic Lao and Laos accepts them back, they are brothers again. Whereas, Hmong Americans don't have that choice, we are the scapegoat and blamed for everything. I'm happy Laos is doing good now.

Y’all heard that story where the little girl was crying and the family was on the run from the lao soldiers. They left her and she grabbed onto her moms shirt to not leave without her. Her dad can’t do anything so he cut her hands off from the moms shirt. After running away from the soldier, the mom looks at her shirt and her daughter’s hand was still attached to her shirt.

True. During the French colonization of Indochina, the country of Laos was seized, however the Hmong people couldn't be tamed. A leader bythename of Paj Cai Vue led the Hmong the revolt and without gunsand arms still held o ftheFrench. After the mess the Hmongs were actually granted land but sadly without a foundation of Government greed eventually led us to lose the land. Even through thatwe still held our own.To thisday I believe we may not be where we want to be but we are where we should be.
