Nice to see a good pan fry and a well treated cedarstrip canoe that has a keel. Looked like a vintage Peterborough or Chestnut but couldnt quite make out the label on the bow. Thanks for sharing!

Great looking trip Nicholas. I had a good chuckle at the beginning, when the Loon's were calling. Several years ago, my self and three friends took a self guided trip to Flin Flon, to fish Flin Flon lake. First evening there, as we sat around our fire recalling the fun day we had, the Loons started calling. We didn't know if we should run, or call the police, since it sounded like someone was getting strangled. None of us had ever heard them before. The old camp host that was there about died laughing. He thought our reactions were funny as heck. Beautiful lake, and the fishing was super. We made two other trips back, each time fully prepared for the Loon's. 🤠 Take it easy cowboy. Roger

Thanks Roger! Always looking forward to your comments. As a kid I use to fall asleep to the sound of loons playing on a speaker, but I definitely can see how they would be creepy if you didn't know what they were!

I wish I could get my wife to go somewhere like that. I did right after we got married, but she's just not the outdoors type. Unless it's the beach or lake on a boat. Also I think you should loosen the drag on your reel a little.

I bought reflective line for tying out guy lines etc around camp. It’s easier to step around obstacles that show up, than to get back up next to one that was not easily seen. Just saying. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

GREAT video! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 For a bit of edification, Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb, hence its name. Cottage Pie is made with beef. What brand of canoe are you paddling?
