We still have problems while living in our van (we talk 5 years fulltime). But at least we're free do travel where we like and get inspiration while traveling. Problem is: the last years more and more people sell out the fancy and happy side of van life, instead to talk what actually take to do it. Not always roses at all! :)

I was thinking about selling my home to go live in my van but people on KZbin that are doing this lifestyle tell me i should go try it first because van life isn't for everyone nor is it that easy. I have 30 years in the Psychology field. The van life is a LIFESTYLE.......it is not therapy. For therapy get a nice pen and diary and write about your experience. Turn it into a book and make a best seller. Get lot's of money and change lifestyles and live in a fancy house and do hard drugs. Lifestyles like the van life can create.......... FREEDOM ....can lead to HAPPINESS ....and that can help you feel better than Suburbia. DO THE DIARY .......so you know how you feel about everything......look at your dreams to see what your subconscious is telling you.

It may not solve your problems, but I don't think many people expect to live a problem-free life. I believe people who are looking into various lifestyles, such as van life, are merely looking for a change because they are bored or complacent in their current life, or they are missing some sense of adventure. Van life will provide that change, but may come with a whole different set of problems.

Are you fuckers half baked? Ok what I like about PRIUS CAMPING. Is I am practicing for what could be my new life. See ALL my life I have encountered homelessness. It has been the transition of each stage of my life what I mean stage is 1st wife 2nd wife and now I am on wife 3. 4 years 6 years and now 17 years. This wife seems like she is not going to throw me out broke and busted but you never know how it will end. I like to go places sure but when I go I like to go on MY TERMS. I don't want a hotel telling me what time I have to leave or if I can stay another night or not. I just need a shower and a place to sleep and that is covered with a PLFT visit and my crim mattress in my Prius. I want to watch the news I just have to put my TV up and scan for some channels poof I got the news. That or I can fire up the laptop at the PLFT and tool around for some internet sites to get caught up. The prius is so good on fuel you don't care if you run it while you sleep to get perfect airflow. The car is way cheaper than a campsite to pop a tent so that is what I do sleep in the car when I am on the road. Cook in the car or eat out who cares as long as I make turds I am cool.
