I read about this on X .. I was so upset for him and what happened to him. He didn't deserve that but unfortunately Facebook is full of scammers & many have been taken-in at different levels . I hope he is able to recover from this terrible action by unknown scammer....and that person is caught and held accountable. Jake has been a true hero to many in WNC from Day 1 with the non-stop help he has given to everyone who needed his help very badly ..I have watched countless videos on You Tube of his kindness and work..This is time for someone to reach out to Jake and seriously help him in this awful situation. It breaks my heart just listening to him talking about it.

77k that's a very very expensive lesson for a blue collar working man. I'm extremely cautious with things costing 100 to 500 bucks online (money i'm willing to lose), but for that much money (77k) I would have to go to the site/seller to confirm the physical item, pick it up myself or witness it being loaded onto a freight.
