Absolutely helps with the counter balance. Working on consistency of 5 T2B. I tend to lose rhythm after that.

I think I look at the bar with my eyes so I will just have to see if look like a fool ha ha . I will be more aware next time I do these . My favorite book Alive I need to read more books for pleasure

I love your tips. I have a hard time with kipping pull-ups , no problem with strict (have little mobility in my shoulders) But getting better everyday. This tip helped me get more swing on my toes-to-bar. You really help in my daily progression in my box. Thank you.

Hi ben can you please make a video on how to delay the early arm pull on kipping hips to rings false grip muscle up. Specially with a false grip. I mean its kinda easier to figure out on cleans and snatches. But kinda harder to figure out at false grip hips to rings.

I've been doing Crossfit for 3 months now. My short term goal is to complete a TTB, no more knee-ups! I think my problem is not only with the kipping part, but I can't bring my legs all the way up :( Any ideas?

Any tips for strict TTB? I can string together more than 20 UB kipping TTB, but can't do 1 TTB strict. Is it a strength issue or flexibility or both?

Any advice regarding the hands ? My hand get so torn doing kipping TTB, I can do 10-15 kipping but not more, due to the hands, I am strong enough to do 20-25 strikt. I use grip and tape my fingers. But it is still a big issue for me. If i Do a WOD with 40 kipping TTB, I can not do anything else that is bar related the next day due to my sore hands. Help please :-)

Do not grab the bar with your palm. Grab it with your finger side of your palm. It is more like hook your fingers on the bar and cover it with your thumbs. I hope you get a idea from my words. :D

Interesting.... you might actually be gripping the bar too high. A TTB doesn't require much of a false grip, so try relaxing your wrists a little bit and don't grab the bar quite as high. Also, do you shave your calluses? It's really important to get rid of calluses before doing lots of bar work!

When you are doing toes-to-bar, do not swing. Prepare your body first, empower your grip, work on dip bars leg raises for a while, then start working on your toes-to-bar. Swinging won't engage the muscles properly, cheating won't help you.
