Indeed, it has been a while. I am glad I stuck around though. Seasons 5 and 6 have been very consistently good. Even lesser episodes like Black Panther vs Batman, Black Widow vs Widowmaker and Captain Marvel vs Shazam are still pretty good from a technical standpoint.

Yikes...I felt a sense of anger inside me just seeing a clip of Mewtwo VS. Shadow, that's how much I hate it. I tried to sugar coat Season 3, trying to think 'hey this season wasn't so bad it had Dante vs. Bayonetta and Hulk vs. Doomsday', but after reviewing the season as a whole, yeah I can see how this season was considered the weakest, especially how it produced my LEAST favorite Death Battle of all time. Also, I'm really sorry to hear about the Tracer vs. Scout trouble that you went through, even though this video came out like....a year ago, I hope you're doing alright.

I’d say my least favorite this season was Erza VS Zoro. In fact, it’s at the bottom of my list. I shall explain why right now. They left out so many things that, if put in, would give Erza many advantages. For example: her Ataraxia Armor can cut people without even needing direct contact, bypassing Zoro’s Haki. The Nakagami Armor cuts through the fabric of space, which also bypasses Haki. Basically, all Zoro’s advantages aside from training and Damage Soakage could be countered by Erza's vast arsenal. They also put Erza at bullet speed when there are lightning to FTL speed FT arguments floating about online, all thanks to Laxus and Sting. In fact, in Ace vs Natsu, Death Battle calc'd Natsu at 9,000 mph, the exact same speed they calc'd Zoro at. So according to Screwattack, Erza cannot keep up with someone who is the exact same speed as Natsu. Despite the fact that she kicks the crap out of Natsu literally every time they fight. God damnit, Ben and Chad. In addition, Erza was cutting with air pressure long before Zoro was cutting with steel, and Erza commonly finds a fighting style that works, and sticks to it, making it even harder to win. Also, I find it kind of funny and ironic that not even 3 months after that fight aired, Erza got a meteor feat that absolutely squashes any doubt that she wins. In the recent battle of Gray VS Esdeath, which is also wrong unsurprisingly, they straight up confirm that Erza while half dead and half-naked with most of her bones broken with a regular katana could casually stomp Fujitora, much less Zoro, which is pretty embarrassing. Overall, this episode did everything in its power to bury Erza, which is absolutely disgusting behavior from someone like them. They really should’ve used the Fanon wiki version. It’s much better and actually has a feelsy ending. It makes the official one look not just like bad fanfiction, but also bad comedy.

Mostly agree with this list, though I would’ve put Amy Vs Ramona a bit higher and Zoro vs Erza is easily my number one, not only cause it’s awesome, but also cause it got me so interested in Erza I checked out Fairy Tail and it became one of my favourite anime ever so I’ll always love the episode for that

14: Bowser vs Ganon. Wasted potential, bad animation, and anticlimactic death, 13: Cammy vs Sonya. this battle shouldn't be afraid of what it did, but what it didn't do. and the finisher was just... horrible. 12: Shadow vs Mewtwo. this episode. i expected more. it was bad, it had a horrible va for shadow, and it was wrong. 11: Pinkie Pie vs Deadpool. Fourth wall breaking was ok, but i expected more. 10: Amy vs Ramona. Decent, but slow animation and was a easy stomp in amy's favor. 9: Ken vs Terry: i liked it, it felt short, Ken could have had more blood in the end where terry did power geyser. 8: Joker vs Sweet tooth. long, the 3D animation was ok. 7: Meta vs Carolina. Fine, good episode with good animation that i forgot of. 6: Tracer vs Scout. Amazing animation. only problem is that rage spoiled it for me, and scout didn't use all his weapons. 5: Flash vs Quicksilver. it was pretty good. but it was clear that Flash wins. 4: Zoro vs Erza. good, and hilarious and amazing moments 3: Ratchet and Clank vs Jak and Daxter. only problem is voice acting for daxter. 2: Hulk vs Doomsday. was Amazing, and the kill was phenomenal. 1: Dante vs Bayonetta. probably my favorite death battle to date.

Favorite: I can say a lot for Season 3 but I gotta go with Bowser VS Ganon like I know a lot of people didn't like given that Bowser got robbed out of a win but in my case, I knew it was going to end with Ganondorf winning despite siding with Bowser like that one was a Ragna VS Sol kind of fight to me since knowing both characters since I played their games though in the former matchup's case, I was informed by someone on Twitter that Ragna gets stomped hard like Sol survived a time paradox though don't get me wrong, I still sided with Ragna but I went in knowing Sol had it as I had accepted my L in that one. Bit off topic for a moment, but I grew up with Bowser and Ganondorf when their respective franchises launched their biggest titles in the 1990s and I was only a few years old when Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time came out so despite siding with Bowser, I had accepted my loss in that one and I hope that one day, Bowser gets a second fight against a new opponent much like Ganon did with Dracula. Least Favorite: It's a tie between Mewtwo VS Shadow and Deadpool VS Pinkie Pie, the former being that the animation was just bad to the point that there's a green screen in some shots of the fight itself like the music was fine but the fact the animator did that on purpose was just bad and as for the latter, the fact that the Season 3 Finale ended up being a joke episode like when the fight got announced and Deadpool was the first to appear at the end of Zoro VS Erza, like he was one character who had no reason to return like if I were to rank all of Deadpool's appearances on the show, his fight with Pinkie Pie is way down at the bottom of that list.

people didn't like tracer vs scout not because of scout losing but because he had tons of amazing feats, abilities and weapons who were simply ignored intentionally for the sake of making tracer win also the fact that scout was using weapons from other games during the animated battle and the fact that they confused the name of some weapons and even confused his teammates with his brothers

BLA5T3R Productions Which is a huge outlier compared to what is usually shown in the series. Sonic characters then get to scale to beings powered by all 7 Chaos Emeralds in base, which puts them at a higher level if you use that logic.

Yeah. It's the worst DB season aside from season 1. Every episode outside the top 5 is either boring, wasted potential or both.

Season 3 really was just boring and meh. I kind of see Season 3 in early season 4, but near the middle and end it gets better and Season 5 and 6 are even better than that. My personal ranking would be 14. Deadpool vs Pinkie Pie Just. No. 13. Cammy vs Sonya Bad animation and the outcome was dumb. 12. Mewtwo vs Shadow The battles too short (yes the animator didn’t want to work on it but still), outcome is incorrect, and va’s are just ok. Only good thing is the music and bits of the animation. 11. Bowser vs Ganon Should’ve waited to do this tbh. The animation is ok and the reasoning for Ganon’s win is dumb, but otherwise it’s just ok. If it was done in another season tho it could’ve been the kaiiju fight it should’ve been. 10. Meta vs Carolina This fight shouldn’t exist, but for what it’s worth it’s ok. Also the music track is good and animation is ok. 9. Tracer vs Scout Like Bowser vs Ganon this should’ve waited to exist, but more so Overwatch wouldn’t be so fresh. The outcome is wrong, but idc really as the animation is decent enough. 8. Amy vs Ramona This fight is just kinda there. Don’t have much to say really. It’s there and is better then the others below. 7. Flash vs Quicksilver Speed force scene is great, but other than that it’s an obvious stomp that I’m ok with as Flash really didn’t have many other ways to get in. Also it’s the only 2D DC vs Marvel in the season which is so odd looking back now. 6. Ken vs Terry Honestly the animation is surprisingly good and while the match itself is meh so is the rest of the season, so the animation can kinda carry. Not sure on the outcome, but idc for it here. 5. Joker vs Sweet Tooth The Joker was honestly pretty funny in this fight making the great animation even better. The outcome is questionable especially in how Joker won in the fight, but since the fight is as funny and good as it is I’ll let that pass. 4. Zoro vs Erza Best sprite fight this season. Looks really good with the right outcome. Not much to say honestly other than that. 3. Dante vs Bayonetta Good lord this fight looks amazing. Yes the outcome is highly incorrect, but the fight itself, the va’s, and the ending were just so great that you can’t complain too much. 2. Ratchet & Clank be Jak & Daxter Same as Dante vs Bayo except it doesn’t look as good, but has more variety and the correct outcome. As well I like the dialogue between all 4 as it seems pretty accurate as to what they’d do. Overall great episode. 1. Hulk vs Doomsday I may be a little salty on the outcome, but the fight is super badass. The voice acting, music, just everything is perfect other than a somewhat shotty outcome. However I wouldn’t say any episode in the season is spectacular. That’s just the season tho. The next 3 are far superior.
