Mega Man 5 is far from the worst of the NES games. Mega Man 5 has the best looking colors and graphics next to MM6. The music is above average, beating out the music for MM1, 4 and 6 at least for me. The level designs were creative and unique. Floaty stages like Star Man, gravity platforming on Gravity Man's stage, riding a motor boat that can shoot, and riding on a train. The only downgrade as you mentioned is the frequent drop rate of lives which makes the game really easy.

Personally, I've never been huge on rematches. The only one i'd be hyped for is Kratos vs Spawn but only because the fight animation is so dated and it has huge potential for a 3D battle. A great video idea would be on the Unholy Trinity or talk about the old podcast..... god its been so long.
