Massive props to not using the Premium Plants, they're essential in Penny's Pursuit and Arena but kinda overkill in adventure. I think the Gem Premiums are fair game though, none of them are super overpowered and they're pretty easy to get without spending a penny. Plus it'd be nice to see you try out Squash, Jalapeno and Hypno Shroom.

NMT is actually fun and doable without Premiums, unless you're doing Endless where you can get 5 Gargans as the first zombies (first-hand experience). Modern Day isn't very difficult as Part B doesn't utilize portals, like, at all. The other 2 though...

Just a heads up… Neon mixtape tour isn’t as hard as the last 3, but the difficulty SERIOUSLY picks up there. I just went from not losing a single level and getting by super easy in the worlds (except for dark ages which I still didn’t lose in) to losing MANY levels in neon mixtape tour. This world is INFURIATING. Good luck

It's really the arena plants that are game-breaking. The premium and gem plants aren't very strong compared to the rest of the normal plants.

when the game did not have the level system for plants the adventure was much harder (big wave beach was hard AF for me, mainly because bowling bulbs and guacodile were basically pea-shooters.) for you to really have the hard experience just keep your plants at level one( its more entertaining too) and struggle. love your vids BTW.

Exactly, Unfortunately this game has changed for the worse, between levels twisted and changed to facilitate the adventure, the arena that is a ruin and other excrement, good times when there were no levels and some paths were practically impossible haha

Fun Fact: You can literally solo all of the levels in the game with only 2 SEED SLOT, and over half of the level utilise Magnifying Grass and Sun Shroom.

If there is one thing I'd personally be ok with, it'd be allowing what we refer to as the "gemium" plants (basically plants you buy with the gems). They're usually no where near as strong as actual premiums with the only major exception being shrinking violet (which you can exclude if you want). Things like pea nut, homing thistle and fire pea aren't all too powerful and feel more like your average plants. And hoo boy am I excited to see how these rule changes will affect BWB and the other 2 big rage inducing worlds.

@@comaloma I would say it is harder than gem plants still due to the grinding usually required , and it is time dependent unlike gem plants. Futhermore gem plants are not as OP as seed plants (Generally speaking) so that is a another reason why using gem plants would be ok.

Wolfy, I really appreciate the fact that you're not using premiums anymore. It's a very bold move, but I think you'll have a lot more fun playing it this way than you would've otherwise, because it's no fun to plow through every level with a bunch of pay-to-win plants. Just remember that now that you've said it you can't to go back on it. You've got to stick with it, but it won't be that bad. Trust me.

If you're not gonna use premium plants anymore then i reccomend you to still use gem plants as you can get them for free and aren't stupidly overpowered. Also, a quick tip: early on Neon Mixtape Tour you find these Punk Zombies which are really annoying, but you can counter them by using Magnet Shroom.

Big respect for doing this Wolfy, but we really don’t mind if you keep the gem plants and Torchwood. They’re not pay to win like the others, which are ones we’re actually bothered about. I and many others also bought Shrinking Violet, Hurrikale, Hypno-shroom etc and used the hell out to them in our own playthroughs, no pay to win needed. So keeping them in here doesn’t ruin the relatability of the series and certainly not the hilarity and fun of it. I think a better idea would be to vary the strategies a bit more and rely on them a bit less, rather than banning them all from Adventure completely. Plus you can’t just break up the iconic Repeater-Torchwood duo like that cmon

A tip for Neon Mixtape. Keep magnet shroom with you. There's a zombie that has a bunch of metal piercings. It one-shots him. After you encounter him, the Almanac tells you that he's vulnerable to it.

Hey do you know if you put your plant food on plant is recharging you can use your plant again like you can use heatseeker 2 times like place him then put the plant food on heatseeker (the one needs to recharge) you can place him again
