The weapon graphics are taken from the Jaguar port of Wolf 3D which, as you can clearly see with the Pistol and Chaingun, are altered versions of Doom sprites.

+The Neon Reaver Actually now that you mention it, they took just about everything that's different from the Jaguar version, which isn't a bad thing because the Jag version is actually good. I originally thought it was the Mac version, but the Mac and 3DO versions are the same.

Yeah. The mac and 3DO versions also have redrawn sprites, but they are different from the Jaguar, more faithful to the original designs.

It find it odd that the jaguar models are in the highres.pk7 file, and the game supposedly even loads them, yet they dont work :S

Should've used some sounds and sprites from the 3DO version too as some were better than the Jaguar version.

I cant seem to get this working, I have download GZDoom, wolf3d GZD TC, and even the entire wolf3d pack (not from steam / gog), how do I get it work from there?

you need zdoom not gz

@@hajsetr7655 Still works with GZDoom. Also, the reason it doesn't work is because he doesn't used DOOM 2 WAD.

how can I load an add-on in zdoom? for example, i have rising evil,, is there a way to play it?

You can drag it to the exe, or you can set it to autoload with the config file (you'd need to type the full path of the wad though).

You do know you can disable the fuzz in GZDoom.

it's for zdoom. not gzdoom. get zdoom.

Hmmm,help,when i try opening wolf3d with a bacth file,i get error in which it says it cant find gzdoom(Which i have)But when i open all pk3 files,game starts up and main menu works without issues,but when i try to start playing(i tried all episodes) it displays console and it says that there is no map e1m1,e2m1,e3m1,etc. PLEASE HELP SOON! I WANT TO PLAY WOLF3D USING GZDOOM NOW!!!
