ALL of your ‘other’ neighbors.” And because it made them feel better about themselves, they believed him, and they began attacking their neighbors, even eating their pets to stay alive, but once again the man from “de’Orange” reminded them that was all their neighbors’ fault. ✨NO HAPPILY EVER AFTER✨ No happily after for de’Orange followers. 2:17 "You are not in it'. George Carlin spelled out capitalism’s policy of divide and rule, explaining how the rich, the politicians and the media are CONSTANTLY trying to DIVIDE US by race, religion, ethnicity or sexuality. This at a time when no other top comedians even came close to using this kind of analysis in their work. Carlin went further to explain that as long as the “middle class” and the poor were fighting each other, the rich could run away with all the money to the bank. Carlin was the person who created the saying that is often paraphrased, “It’s a big party and you are not invited!”

@RichardDWolff, I want to get your take on some bold tax policy changes. First, I’m in favor of repealing the 16th Amendment. I believe this is essential to ending tax policies that weigh down individual taxpayers without bringing meaningful change. 1.What are your thoughts on a two-tier business tax system-35% for large corporations and 15% for small businesses? Wouldn’t this approach support small businesses and stop large corporations from exploiting loopholes? 2.I’m also looking to eliminate individual taxes for specific income groups. How do we create policies that protect working and middle-class Americans from being overtaxed, while ensuring the wealthy are paying their fair share? 3.For high earners, I’m proposing a 44% tax on individuals earning $5 million or more. Do you agree this level would meaningfully address wealth inequality, or would you adjust it? How do you see this affecting the economy overall? Your insights on how these policies could drive fair, impactful reform would be invaluable. What suggestions do you have to push these tax policies forward effectively?

I agree with Professor Wolff regarding the basic premise that an unequal economy has developed over the last 50 or more years however ,Harris had the unenviable task of wanting to change the economy without marginalizing what her boss did. Biden came in ,with an incredible mess of foreign policy and domestic chaos. For the most part he took several key issues and fixed them for the long term ie;(infrastructure) or at least repaired them in a short term.ie;(student debt) . Harris has made it clear that she is listening to new ideas. Just because she doesn't broadcast her whole agenda does not mean she won't make some fairly dramatic changes. At very least she will listen. Trump on the other hand has told us all his grand plans ,none of which make any sense. The chances that he listens to anyone in the U.S. that is not wealthier or measures up to his childlike reference to toughness is not likely.
@GeorgePence24 күн бұрын
Even if what you say comes true, she's not going to make dramatic enough changes to fix the inequality and instability. The only way that gets fixed is with a paradigm shift. Meaning we need an entire new way of operating the economy. I think that the change is starting that will lead to this, but hasn't taken a solid form yet.
@gordonstewart675724 күн бұрын
