I'm eyeing this L-TWOO A12 upgrade kit, seeing this as a cheap ticket to using a 12-speed. As I've been using an L-TWOO A3 before, I'm betting on the A12 for this.

Yeah, yeah, the sx derailleur sucks, lol. I did offer to send an nx upgrade. Probably just have to send a shimano 6100 groupset sometime soon. The LT Wooooo groupset looks good on the Compzerker. It's definitely going to need a chainstay protector.

Hey BERSERKER, it's all good man! We got a new shifter from someone a while back and will install it again with the new nx shifter. Man we gotta install a new crankset so I can install that basher guard on the Ledge as well!! But yes we do have a protector we can use🤔

I own the LTWOO AX11 (mostly based on your feedback). My biggest complaint is that the metal used in the rear derailleur is soft. I had an issue after a fall and the metal holding the rear jockey wheels was mangled. I was able to bend it back into shape and continue to use it but I was surprised just how soft the metal was. I would think the LTWoo AT 11 or this 12 speed would hold up a lot better being made of carbon fiber.

Based on my experience, I was not surprised how well the L-2 group set worked. When my 10-speed arrived, I had to align the cage due to something that apparently happened in shipping, but the shifting has remained flawless since. I would tell you about my experience between December 4-15, but what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. I have a SRAM SX Eagle 12 speed on one of my other bikes here in Warshington that also required a bit of cage alignment. So far in the last 3 months, no shifting problems with the SRAM. Knock on aluminum. It is 40 degrees outside right now, but I'm going for a ride anyway because of all the rain forecast the coming week. I know what you must be thinking: "Riding when it is that cold when he is that up there in age?" Stay vertical.

Just a heads up that the Sram chain ring is only meant for a Sram chain so it could add some unnecessary wear on the chain and cassette of the new group set but it’s your call. Love the vid tho 🤟

I had a problem with the AX11 groupset where the deraileur tension wasn't enough to stop the big cassette from spinning when you stop pedaling. This has led to situations where you pedal quickly, stop, and the cassette continues to spin and the chain pinches behind the chainring. It scratches and peels off the paint on the chainstay, or in the worst case - the master link gets compressed and the entire chain falls apart on the trail

I've heard getting the nx or gx shifter to go with that sram groupset will help out the shifting along with making sure the derailleur hanger is perfectly straight! Hope that helps

that derailer looks extremely similar to some some lower mid range sram x series stuff which also have a plastic half of the cage. one thing i definetly do not enjoy is trying to tune 11/12 speed drivetrains theyre so finnicky since the chain and cog spacing is alot smaller

“Budget carbon” can be pretty sketchy words imo, at least for handlebars and seat posts. You know, areas you balance or put body weight on. Drivetrain however, I don’t know for sure. Should be relatively safe, hoping at least.

To me the shifting both does not sound and look smooth, but this cassette seems to be a Sunrace copy, these cassettes won't shift as well as some other options, like Shimano. The Shimano Deore m5100 11 speed will shift better. Much less noise, quite quiet and smooths very well. But not a fan of the plastic spacers, but a guy that reviews stuff said it won't be an issue.
