Nicely done! Make sure to have a tire store check all 5 tires. Super common for trailers like this to have older low milage tires that are prone to blowout. Great design choice to set the goal as a 'hard sided tent'.

I am glad your sister is still here and able to enjoy what you have done for her!! My.wife discovered brain cancer the second day of April 2014. She died the last day of June that same year. She did not get to enjoy our travel trailer at all during that time. I was taking her to radiation and chemo every day, fixing her meals (and mine), and helping her get around the house as she needed. I am very very glad you can help your sister enjoy the outdoors and camping as well as her sister relationship with you!! I wish you much much more time with her after discovering her cancer than we had, although we had forty seven and a half years of marriage, and enjoyed our various travel trailers over a lot of those years. I am wishing both of you great family time together for a long time to come!!!

You did an awesome job converting the cargo trailer into a beautiful camper for your sister. I love how the baskets, wooden ceiling, and faux-wood paneling all add warmth to the interior. The colors of the bedding and cushions and the picture all go together. You did a great job with the bead board paneling. I like your sister's wooden table better than the IKEA table. How wonderful for your sister, you did a great job making her trailer look warm, welcoming and comfortable. This is proof that something simple can be highly functional and comfortable and is all you really need. Looking at this trailer is a reminder that we often times think we need the big and fancy to get out there and have a good time and we really don't! It looks so beautiful! I have to say that my most favorite lighting in my truck camper is fairy lights. I have the battery operated ones and they just make me so happy at night. The handle will be wonderful. I will say that the outside lock on the door is just slightly concerning, that someone could lock her in. If she isn't ever camping alone, it probably wouldn't be an issue.
