Deep Purple was my husband's favorite band and My Woman from Tokyo was my favorite song and when my husband passed away suddenly 3 years ago I got my first tattoo in his memory 5 weeks after he passed and when I was getting the tattoo this song came on and I knew he was still with me. Keep up the great reactions, I just enjoy you two.❤

I really liked this song from the "Who do we think we are" album all those years ago. Great rock'n song. Here are few more Deep Purple songs; Highway star (don't play while driving, speeding ticket alert), Smoke on the Water, Space Truckn, Burn, Lazy, Fireball, Strange Kind of Woman, Speed King, Black Night and Flight of the Rat. They with Led Zeppelin were the masters of heavy rock in 70's. Great reaction guys and more DP.

@@ponytrekker8996 I've been listening to Q107 (CILQ) since it went on the air in Toronto in 1977. Like a lot of radio stations, it plays the same half dozen songs by most groups at the expense of so many other great tunes and deep cuts by most rock bands. One good thing, the mighty Q started including 1990s rock/grunge about two years ago in regular rotation so that's been a welcome change/addition.

Deep Purple"s "Super Trouper" is a wonderful song. It actually sounds Led Zeppelin-sh. It has elements of "The Immigrant Song" and elements of "Over the hills and far away." It' s from the same album that "Woman from Tokyo" was from. The album was called "Who do we think we are?" I bought it the year it came out. I was 12.

First time I've seen these guys, and I've subscribed. Love this song so much. Anyone wondering about the blue spaceship picture in the thumbnail, that's from the cover of When We Rock We Rock And When We Roll We Roll, the 1978 compilation which was the first to feature Deep Purple Mks 1, 2, and 3. Worth getting, even though Woman from Tokyo is not live as advertised, but Smoke on the Water is.

Great song. The first album I bought was a compilation album 24 carat purple contains this song. Have a look at the drum cover by Yoyoka of the song Burn (Deep Purple) or YYZ (Rush). You’ll be amazed by this very young drummer.

First (for once haha!). A super catchy song...I had this on a mixed tape as a teen along with a whole bunch of other great tunes. I used to make lots of mixed tapes from the radio...especially when Seattle radio station KISW had their "Metal Shop" show. Back then, Metal Shop played hard rock as well as metal...I learned about SO many bands through that show. Most of the stuff they played wasn't on mainstream radio. For my suggestion, here's another song I remember being on Metal Shop back then, even though it was never metal at all lol! A great song and reaction! Flight Of The Rat - a great track with superb wah-wah and keyboards on it - and When A Blind Man Cries - a more laid back track but with superb guitar work and vocals - are two other Purple songs that you should check out. If you want to hear a really good drummer you really should try listening to Joe Morello - it's jazz but give it a chance!😀 He was the drummer from the Dave Brubeck Quartet famous for Take Five,the drum solo on that is from the less-is-more school but is one of the best drum solos ever - it's the spaces between the notes that stand out! He was John Bonham's favourite drummer and biggest influence - he copied his playing with his hands. Joe Morello looked like your average bank clerk but his drumming was seriously on another level - search JOE MORELLO: The Great Drum Solo from Drummerworld on You Tube and he will blow your mind! He manages to have technique but also musicality by playing several different time signatures at the same time!😲

The comedy act needs more work, guys. The Two Ronnies, stalwarts of British TV back in the 70s, used to sign off their show with Ronnie Corbett saying "It's goodnight from me..." and Ronnie Barker saying "... and it's goodnight from him! Goodnight." That's how you do a double act. Just an idea. On the subject of upsetting people, my mother - who survived several assassination attempts by Hitler's Luftwaffe as a North London schoolgirl - said it was alright to upset people, as long as it was people who had it coming to them! I find myself agreeing with Father on many of his reactions!

This song makes me realize how much I have grown in my appreciation for music. I dismissed all the fantastic instrumentals, and didn't care much for the beginning lyrics, so it was background noise. Still don't really care for the intro lyrical sound, but the rest is fire! Love it!
