Everyone grieves in their own way, and its never good to judge but I find it hard to understand how someone can put their loved ones ashes in a storage container. It feels so disrespectful.

I completely agree. Also, her lack of sentimentality shows with her grandmothers 18, and 20 c gold rings that she’s willing to sell for up to £200. Crazy. At the very least she could melt it towards her moms ashes ring.

And then she loses the ring..."Oh s***t I've lost mum..." But it's probably more respectful than a plastic box as if she was a sandwich, or a slice of cheese cake... I like the thought that my mum, and dad, are resting peacefully in the earth. It will not be forever, nothing lasts forever, but it will last as long as it can.

If you are not attached it rings it is best to sell or give them away. I had my engagement ring worht about £250 and as soon as we had some workmen in the house it went - I don't know who took i of about 20 different people but it was the only ring of value - they left all the paste stuff. Now I have nothing really at all in the jewellery department. I even gave all the paste to charity last year.
