My daughter, two of her friends, and I were nearly killed by a drunk driver. So there's that issue, too. She drove off and left us to die! Thank goodness a citizen saw it and called 911 along with having her plate number, or she may have not been caught! Me and the friend behind me and the backseat were injured. I think legalizing everything would actually do more good than harm. There are countries who have tried this with great results, and drug use actually went down. Not to mention a big portion of our prisons are overfilled with drug users/sellers wasting massive amounts of tax dollars. Let the people decide for themselves what they should and shouldn't put in their bodies, just sayin.

I had a delinquent phase as a young man and had several run ins with the police and arrests. I was never once disrespectful with them and that always worked in my favor. They threw out potential charges against me and wrote very forgiving police reports that ended up helping me get much lighter sentences. I learned from those experiences and am now upstanding citizen. Law enforcement is the backbone of a safe and civil society.

Same here bro. Drank a ton after coming home from Iraq and one day i was like...this isnt going in a good direction. Since 2008 ive tried driniing one time back in 2014. I ordered a long island ice tea took a few sips and was like yeah I just cant do this. All will to consime alcohol has left my body. If it were up to me I'd ban alcohol outright, it has no medical uses and sure some people can have a few drinks from time to time and be fine but how many broken homes does there need to be how many people need to die in DUI incidents? Just van the stuff already. I fully believe alcohol has remained legal because it helps keep prisons funded and the state makes money off of DUI cases. That's my two cents anyway..taking the tin foil hat off for the rest of the day lol
