An excellent way to maintain your professionalism and support your officers when they’re being assaulted and instigated by the arrestee
@whitway12Ай бұрын
Great comment. I am fully aware there are bad cops out there, just like there are bad teachers, doctors, judges, etc, people in places of authority. That being said, being a cop today must be incredibly demoralizing. The majority of police officers are just trying to do something good for their community, because someone has to do the job, they are humans, they get stressed just like anyone else, they get upset, they get shit on all day and THEN you have a giant subculture of people who want to see them defunded and think it’s virtuous to harass, insult, abuse and denigrate them. The system isn’t perfect, by any stretch, but when push comes to shove and you’re in trouble, you want the police there, and without them, there would be anarchy (evidenced by the ‘police free zones’ in places like Chicago or wherever they did that). 9 times out of ten they just want to do their job and go home, they’re not the ones that make the laws, they are the ones tasked with enforcing them, basically getting the short end of the stick while legislators get paid six figure salaries and have 24 hour security. The good don’t excuse the bad, but if all police officers just decided to walk off the job, I’m sure those people screaming to defund them would be the first to cry out for them if god forbid they become of a victim of crime. People need to think more rationally and logically about the individual, not the profession. No one likes being pulled over but I’m 38 and I think I’ve been pulled over like, a handful of times, I’ve gotten more parking tickets than I’ve ever had police interaction, and I’ve always treated them with respect and in kind, i usually get a warning if it’s not serious.

This crew is a bunch of young yahoos who are barely human. In fact, I am pretty convinced that the next generation of law enforcement will not be human. It will be AI. And the hhumanistic behaviors of these monsters will be programmed in patterns based on people exactly like these guys. AI has no worries about things like empathy or actual intelligence being able to read a scene respond on nicely to another human being you know they're just programmed for search and seizure. Boom. . 12:41 their glee @ finding weed is SO RIDICULOUSLY ...childish, immature, disrespectful, unprofessional ....then the cult-like back-slapping and Narcissistically self-congratulatory little party like a baby wolf pack is pretty nauseating.... And you know what?? I don't know why we're operating in the Stone Age still, making people do "roadside exercises" (Exercises. The officer calling it that is wrong too. Iit's not an exercise. It's a field sobriety test to determine whether or not she's too impaired to drive. You should tell them that. But, my idea is why in God's name are cruisers not equipped with breathalyzers?? The technology already exists in the ignition interlock system A determination could be made in seconds that is scientifically accurate, not subject to interpretation or even the skill-set possessed by the officer. And that would take a lot less time. Why don't we equip police cars with the same damn thing and stop all the shenanigans roadside? I am not the biggest fan of cops sometimes. But the cop that told the other officer to take a walk showed tremendous leadership. Recognizing when someone is agitated and taking them out of the situation is amazing. That officer really impressed me.

Wow, this video shows just how quickly things can escalate during a traffic stop. The officers stayed calm and professional, even when the situation got tense. It’s a reminder of how important it is to stay cooperative and respectful during interactions like this.

It's pretty common to not know your headlight is out. You'd have to turn your own car on and get out and check it every night you drive to make sure of that. Who does that?

I find it fascinating that people think that you can't be charged with anything beyond what you were initially pulled over for. "Hey! You can't arrest me for the dead body in my trunk! I was just low on blinker fluid!" 🥴

Because the cops in your situation didn't pull you over looking to create a bigger issue. The cops in this video were fishing the moment they asked the first question. They were bricked up just waiting for a chance to rough this lady up. If this is the America you all call "land of the FREE" then you've lost the plot.
