Edit: I’m a mental health therapist and specialized in DV and advocate for victims who are getting orders of protection. It is RARE a judge grants a plenary order of protection, so if she got an OP for three years there was evidence.

My mom has threatened three people that I know of to stab them. Two were my Father and brother. The other is more recently,, this person being her roommate in long term care. She claimed that my father and brother lied. They got a 2 year restraining order, helps that he had it on the answering machine. Yes she left the threat on the answerin machine and didn't bother to show up to court. She still says it's not true

My Aunt was just like this woman. She claims SHE moved in with her son. That’s a lie. She probably owns the house or has the rent in HER name and then just tells everyone that she moved in with him to make him look like less of a loser for living with his mom and instead a loving son who let his mom move in. The fact that she’s fighting his ex in court for him says it all. She wants to make the ex pay for whatever happened in their relationship. She will never admit her son is a loser and will lie for him until the day she dies. My aunt did the same with her son, who at 35 years old, married a girl 10 years younger and then made his mom move out of her home so he could move in with his wife and they could claim they “owned their own home”. My poor aunt had the house paid off and had to move into an apartment and pay rent every month when she was already retired all so he could play house with his wife. He had no car, no credit, no job, a house mommy gave him, bills he made his mom pay and then made a baby with no money. Mommy stepped in and helped him with that one too. She invited 200 people to the baby shower just to try and get them to buy everything that was needed for the baby since he had no job or money. He decided to up and move 11 hours away and my aunt had to go with them to help pay for everything. He told the family HE bought a house and wanted to bring his mom along. I looked up the house online and it was in his MOM’S name, not his and I told the family. I was accused of being “jealous” of him 😂 I have a wife, a great job, 3 cars, over 800 credit score and I loved MY MIL in with ME and she doesn’t pay a dime. I’m also a combat vet and have done more in one deployment than he’s done in a lifetime. But I’m jealous? My family sucks and he gets away with murder. My aunt should have a son that takes care of her and not one who bleeds her dry and acts like a child.

I am a mother in law... I love my daughter in law like my own daughter! She and my son have a 6 month old little boy. They are incredibe parents and I'm there often with my grandson. The world tears you apart in traumatic ways and the one thing that should be there for you for support is family... To deal with the trauma from the world.. relationship partners... and then your own mother.... is tragic... I knew the mother was no good when the daughter said the mother invited the daughter's estranged husband to where she was living. If anyone with common sense knows, it's dangerous to do this. What if this man would've killed her.. or their child.. any real mother would never want to endager their daughter's life if you truly love and care for your daughter. I was carted back and forth between three different houses as a kid too and it was just awful having to pack a suitcase every weekend because each parent said I wasn’t allowed to wear “their” clothes to the other parents house. Bitter petty hatred just ruining my off-school time for no reason. I’m at least grateful that I was legally required to attend just the one school, if it were up to my dad he would have had me going to the schools he lived near every other week even though he moved from town to town about once every two years.
