The sentence that was handed down was WAY too SOFT, she should have easily been sentenced to prison, for the simple fact that she left the scene of the accident the caused severe bodily injury to another human being. The lies and deception she tried to maintain from the moment it happened are treacherous and she should've been punished for it. When I was little, we were taught and required to pedal AGAINST traffic! Common sense!! You take up the SAME space, PLUS, you can watch the traffic instead of hoping every car isn’t the one to drive up your ass!!
@JDSJayDS3 жыл бұрын
Bad advice. Yeah, you take up the same space, but now you're taking up space into on-coming traffic that's not expecting or looking for you there. Say you're cresting a hill and a car coming the other way. The only advantage you have is that you will be able to see the car coming the other way hit you head on. This is how more accidents. You're riding against traffic and come to a light, what are you going to do then? If you have to turn right, you're going to have to cross 2 lanes of traffic. As a driver, you don't know what the fuck the cyclists traveling against traffic is going to do at intersections. Nobody's is on the same page. You travel WITH traffic. You are slow moving traffic, bound by the same traffic laws as cars. This way, everybody is on the same page. Just like a car, you have to be aware of what's in front and behind you. Once you travel against traffic, you're traveling by different rules. When you're traveling with traffic, cars coming from behind can see you. It's up to them to treat you just like a slow car and either pass safely or wait until it's safe to pass. It's up to the cyclists to move to the right when he feels the car will have enough room to pass. If he doesn't feel the car has enough room to pass and there's oncoming traffic, the best thing to do is stay in the lane rather than lead the driver behind into thinking it is safe to pass. It's also up to the cyclist to use common sense when choosing where they ride. They might have the "right" to ride on a narrow, busy, twisting road, but those rights aren't going to do you much good when the ER doc is pulling your kneecaps out of your asshole. I traveled by bike exclusively for 22 years in three different states and my kneecaps are where they're supposed to be and I still managed to not make a nuisance of myself just acting like a slow car.

But it turns out they were on probation or bail for a double murder or something. If you look at the statistics white cops are also very slightly slower to draw their gun and shoot at a black person, I know decades of TV and media probably have you thinking otherwise, hell historically they were racist so I don't even blame anyone for thinking that way but in this day and age I couldn't seriously look someone in the eyes and tell them that modern judges are stepping on eggshells not to racially offend anybody that some black people wind up with very gentle sentences.

I own property in the same city this is in... I remember this on the news. If u have money & influence like her family, u can get deals like this... But watch what happens to people who DONT have those things. As Death said "they would've buried me in prison for years behind this". Hes completely accurate in that statement, that is EXACTLY what would happen to anyone else who doesn't have money and/or influence.

@@A6Legit that's the difference between people like her and the central park 5 crew. While it may seem grossly unfair, it's a hardcore fact that certain segments of society commit more crimes and are more prone to be a danger to themself and others. This girl committed a crime but she is not a career criminal which causes these judges to have remorse for those who made a stupid mistake, especially at a young age.
@Iceblade2693 жыл бұрын
@@A6Legit Running after hitting someone and trying to lie in order to cover it makes her a criminal imo. People make mistakes and accidents happen, but what she did after the accident showed that she didn't give two shits about this poor woman she hit.

I agree, I dont like bikes being allowed in the road at all. its dangerous for everyone, and a lot of times they dont even need to do it. It backs up traffic like crazy for one person

It warms my heart to finally see one of those dumbasses who rides their bike in frickin traffic actually catch the stupid prize for the stupid game they play. And the classic line, “I’m legally allowed to ride in the street” that they act like is some kind of insulation or protection is asinine at best. I’m legally allowed to eat a spoonful of cinnamon but it may not be a great idea 💡

Yeah a lot of these bikers are annoying as heck. They take up full Lanes cause people to have to go 10 miles per hour. It's ridiculous the ones that don't stay in the bike lane and want to pretend that they're an actual motor vehicle. It should be illegal for them to be on the road. Not that anyone deserves to be hit and left for dead

I feel bad for the girl but I'm happy she'll no longer be in the road impeding traffic. There's a reason cars have safety standards. Bikers/motorcycles aren't nearly safe enough to be in the road surrounded by 2 ton death machines. Quite literally a ball/animal going across the road can cause serious wrecks that result in catastrophic damage because they offer zero, zip, zilch protection to the rider. So miss the courtroom with your injuries. Had she been strapped to a car seat with a...ya know seat belt, she wouldn't have been doing flips in the air like a ballerina from the impact. Seatbelts are required by law to avoid these dangerous scenarios. I'm sure she's had blurry eyes before right? Well yeah, that all it takes for a driver to hit someone on a bicycle because they blend into the passing background at a glance and offer far less visibility than a 4+ wheel vehicle. With that said, I would love to ride a motorcycle; however I wouldn't be crying foul about my injuries after a collision because it's foreseeable that crashes happen and I chose to ride something dangerous that took on those additional risk. LIke really, what would people think had she rode into a squirrel and died from breaking her neck? Would people be blaming the squirrel, obviously not. They would say she died doing what she loved and even find comfort in it because everyone knows she took on those risks willingly. Well in this case, she decided to play in the rode on her bicycle which happens to be a far more dangerous setting than a park where squirrels roam. Now that she's experienced some of the potential consequences herself she admits she's no longer going to ride in the rode.

Dear friend, please know that the "Good News" is the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is, "Christ died for our sins; He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15: 3-4). The "Good News" of Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life to salvation. Receive it and believe it this very moment. Precious believer, may Father God our Creator, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit bless you abundantly now and forever! Amen! ❤️😊

Jesus NEVER existed. Jesus is symbolic for our sun. Thats why when you see depictions of Jesus he has a halo or sun rays emanating from his head. The ONLY thing we have is duality, good and evil. They have personified these actions with fictitious and fabricated characters like Jesus and Satan. The Bible and all religions are a psyop on the masses.

There was a crime committed. However, I think the people that ride on the side of main roads, even while allowed to are some of the dumbest humans on this Earth. They should definitely realize that not everybody that has a driver's license is that smart. There are plenty of people that look at their phones almost the whole time while driving. Then there are plenty of people that just learned how to drive that week.Those bikers should be a whole lot smarter!

Omg.....your commentary is killing me!!!🔥Especially about the Prosecutor and her lame presentation at the beginning and the way you expressed how you feel about some of the stupid things bikers do. And I love riding my bike but I only go to the local park on a bike trail. I don't ride on the streets and I get so frustrated when folks on bikes are riding in the middle of the road, taking up space as they ride 'side-by-side' and don't care about how they block traffic. Let me stop; even thinking about the arrogant bikers and their rude ways gets me heated up!!! Just discovered your videos; keep them coming. You've got some really content!!👏🏽👍🏽👏🏽 And this case? No jail time at all, house arrest?!? Total BS.
