I have been that woman, afraid to be alone. What did I do? I stayed in 2 LONG painful relationships. I don't understand why we stay in hell but we do when we never knew heaven; these relationships hurt more than being alone! In my case, I never knew my worth. I was seeking the love, acceptance and validation I didn't have from my father. So I found men that were equally selfish, self-focused and non-committing. That way, I was "left" daily, while with them. Now I am finally alone and learning to love myself. All I would give to a man I will now give ME.

Melo Earth- been there too many times...I am now commited to being self partnered, get clear and focused on what I deserve and practice that for and to my Self. Hope you are finding blessings and owning your worth on your journey. Peace, love, and light.

I'm alone because I finally learned that I'm better off alone than with someone who doesn't value me. Sadly, so many women feel that "anybody" is better than "nobody". I was in that group for a long time, but I realized I'd had enough. I wouldn't put up with someone treating my best friend like crap, so why would I put up with someone treating me that way.

Wow. As always Ms. Iyanla brings so much wisdom, light, and truth and in a way that is clear, heartfelt, and just simply touchable. I can feel her words inside me breaking stuff up lol in a good way. After being married for 20 years and experiencing betrayal and a horrible divorce, the scariest part to rebuilding my new life has been men. Honestly, they simply scare me. I'm not afraid of men, I feel strong and confident as a single woman again, but I definitely have trust issues and as much as I "know" good men exist, I feel unable to connect with the right man for me. I will apply the tools you shared Ms. Iyanla...working on being healed and whole because I do desire a loving partner who desires me too. Thank you

I wholeheartedly received this message. I can relate to alot of this and because of that I have put up a shell for years that has now pretty much become a part of who I am and now I find it difficult to put let this shell go because it has become a security blanket of sorts. Sometimes I wonder if its even worth it because the men I meet are so not worth the effort. But I have realized that I have some serious soul searching to do within myself If I truly want to consider being vulnerable(that word alone makes me cringe) to looking for love.

After having been alone for over 10 years, I've almost become numb to the idea of having a Sacred Love Partnership; until very recently, I never felt the need for company; having been fiercely independent all of my life, I kind of rejected the idea of needing or wanting companionship, until I saw, reflected in someone, in a public space, all of the qualities within a man, that I kept hidden in the back of my mind, always believing that ideal was unattainable or that I was unworthy of it. Now, I see reflected in this beautiful, public individual & sacred soul, all of the possibilities of this "dream companion", becoming a reality within my own life, after I roll up my sleeves, cultivate the earth beneath my own feet and allow the universe to complete the final details of this individual that I am calling into my life, as of today... I see every detail of him, from the color of his eyes, to his height, haircolor & MOST importantly, the content of his character & the thought of calling that spirit into my space, is powerful and brings me great joy...Thank you my Soul Teacher, Iyanla. I have had a vision board that I will now put to use as I call my Sacred Partnership into being, while I chisel , form and dust off the pieces of myself I want to call forth & into being, so that I can reflect the qualities of this individual, within me, and see them reflected within him, as well....I say now, AMEN. It is done...☄☄🌟☄💖
