What she's missing out is that up until the suffrage movement, the right to vote came alongside conscription. Most women did NOT want the right to vote because they didn't also want to risk being forced to go and fight and die in war, as all men faced.

Actually conscription was not introduced in the U.K. until 1916 with the Military Service Act.

@@HistoryHub That may well be so, but that doesn't change the fact that it was seen as mens' role to fight wars. The link was made in women's minds and women were fearful of disrupting the traditional male and female roles in society. Also, they considered voting more as a duty than a right at that time.

The same as today, they want the rights without the contribution.

This basically debunks the entire perception that sufferage was about rights and men were oppressing them with the state.

Groups largely made up of men will eventually turn to politics. Groups largely made up of women will eventually turn to personal relationships. Nature.

How come you blame the right to vote for this types of things when it's mostly in west where problems like these happen. Especially when people in other countries can vote regardless of gender.

@@amandasmith3504 In a Poll that was taken, the vast majority of women said they were mostly concerned with "reproductive rights" and the vast majority of men said they were concerned with economics. It's clear the female demographic doesn't vote in the best interest of the nation.

@@jackbradley1129 first off, women on average give birth to girls 6 out 10 times. Second, that would mean something if women actually gave birth at that rate. But the average is 3 births. So if we go by your logic, a woman is worth 1.5 of a man.

@@6iaZkMagW7EFs The only reason women couldn't vote was because they did not get drafted or had to serve military service. So the only way a man could vote was if he served 2 years of military service, and that law was in play during WW1 so he could vote if he even made it home to begin with. So men had to die in a ditch against their will to vote. While women still don't have to do shit to vote but we still have to serve military service.
