@cyoungrun1 lmao I've been in cross country for 5 years so try again. And technically, the 800 is about 80% sprinting sooooo. I've ran it a lot, and if you run as hard as you can, your legs WILL feel like jelly. I have no idea what I'm talking about? Babe I've sprinted, done mid and long distance, and ran a half marathon. Get over yourself. 800s arent easy for everyone, and me mostly focusing on long distance means it's going to be a harder race for me. Thank you, next

Every professional athlete is on drugs - don't kid yourself. This is a common knowledge and everyone who is in sports knows that. Every athlete since 1970s been on some kind of drugs (some easier detectable, some harder). You know how fast can a complete natural run, even best of the best naturals run nowhere near what a high school athletes run (on drugs). There's not a single athlete in the sport today that is natural - they simply do't make it there. Russia was only targeted due to political reasons. I suggest stop been brainwashed and use your brains or whatever is left to think for yourself. I agree about Semenya tho - that dude should be running with dudes - he is a real cheater

In 2017, she was found guilty of doping, was suspended from competition for four years, and had three years of results nullified, removing the bulk of her elite career including an Olympic gold medal. In December 2014, a documentary aired on German TV in which Savinova admitted to using the anabolic steroid oxandrolone. She said, "Oxandrolone is very quickly out of my body again. When one finishes at 100m doesn't say a ton.. its about tactics and when to begin sprinting in order to not burn out. That being said Semenya didn't look tired... but who really knows. I'm glad she's in this race and has a chance to compete but I can see how people call unfair advantage

The 800 meters is really a sad, sad story of steroid abuse and extra testerone as in the case of Semenya. If she/he is allowed to run with extra masculine characteristics then they should allow her competitors to add those as well.

God give up about Semenya. She couldn't have won easily, her best time ever is more or less identical to the best time of Mariya Savinova, the Russian is just more tactically astute. Being a winner isn't all talent, it's tactical nouse, Savinova has that in bucket-loads, just look at some of her other races, she is just brilliant.
