There is a difference between _testing_ and being _reflexively contrary/disagreeable._ It's not necessarily too difficult to tell the difference, if you have any sense of subtlety, especially if you have spent a decent amount of time with the person. you can weed out pretty quickly the type of women who are always trying to break your balls because that's just who they are, and the type of woman who is probing and testing because she wants to find out a little bit more.

It’s an evolutionary mechanism designed for helping them evaluate capabilities and potential in males around them/males of interest. Let me say this as an addendum to be a little more clear; I agree with what he says for the most part in the video. What I said, I learned from another coach and also from personal experience. I've heard similar theories to the ones said in the video, in that a woman who doesn't even care about your existence won't even need to test you in the first place, because the guy is basically invisible to them and she ain't interested, but that doesn't mean she necessarily does like you if she does test you.. see, so you have to be able to distinguish between the 2 and not be led astray.. So my comment was essentially to point out that when a woman does have "genuine burning desire", she rarely does those things because she won't do anything to risk messing it up, hence 'genuine burning desire'. The question is, if she had genuine burning desire, why would she test you? She wouldn't 99% chance. Maybe if they wanted a more serious relationship but not in the beginning of meeting someone or when it was sparked mostly by physical So my tolerance is so low that I can't endure the testing and have to bow out.

You don't understand social dynamics then. Women test the men they date because it is the only way to see if they are legit or if they are putting up a false front. Men, women and friends test each other. When your buddies tease you about something at the poker table, they are testing you even though they don't realize they are doing it. If you say nothing in return, you fail the test. You will now be lower on the subconscious totem poll of status and leadership in the group. Id never shown desperation with any previous longterm gf or those shorter term it even 1 nighters.... but i thought i had been very selective with the last one and she turned out to be a covert narcissist.....you cant tell at the beginning coz they seem like the perfect woman. She was beautiful and easy going and never denied sex. She had her own money and even payed for me coz i wasnt wotking whrn we first met. After a few months of love bombing she began to subtly do and say little things to see how id react. Trying to boss me around and change who i am as a person. Growning up with a covert narcissist fir a mother made me realise she was acting similarly to my mum. It annoyed me. So she began to escalate. The smallest hint of annoyance was fuel for the fire coz thats how they guage your triggers. Then they accuse you of being crazy/narcissist/childish and whatever else just to piss you off more while theyrr infact MAKING you crazy with gaslighting and infantilisation. They start to withold sex and stop being that sexy caring lovable "perfect" woman and start to be a stern unaffectionate non talkative woman who no longer wants to spend any time with you and bad mouths you to her group of male friends who are supposedly same sex orientated but are clearly visible jealous of your presence and very standoffish. She talks about dick with them and hangs off them in a not atall "hes my brother " way all the while ignoring/dismissing your concerns to the contrary. Dude its so much deeper and intense than just normal bullshit female behaviour and even though i could see it happening somehow i couldnt seem to stay away. I finally stopped being a pushover after 6 years but yeah..... desperation can sneak up on you whilr youre trying to be a good man.

One of the main reasons men have to/must lead a woman in a relationship, is because men are better at critical thinking. Men also have faster and accurate decision making in stressful situations. Woman take decisions based on emotions and in this times, many of them are eager to "make decisions" based on "woman empowerment" movement. therefore all of this power fights. It is only deteriorating relationships between men and women and family structure now is almost lost. It’s not about the woman feeling confident and secure in her own skin. She’s testing you to discern whether she feels confident and secure about YOU. She’s testing to discern how you’ll handle conflict, how WELL you lead through conflicts, how you deal with your emotions, whether you can handle her emotions, etc because moments like that will occur in the future of ANY relationship (ie: what if she’s pregnant and is having an emotional day, or your kids are annoying and bothering you, or you two have disagreements about a big life decision). She’s gauging whether you’re the type to lash out, do you bulldoze or dismiss people and call that “leadership,” can you tell when to listen vs problem solve, do you ask for clarity vs jumping to conclusions, etc. She’s testing how you handle discomfort and pressure because she needs a man she can depend on when actual big life things happen. She’s looking for a GOOD leader and a great PARTNER. NOT just “I’m the man of the house, therefore you must listen to me but when it actually comes to taking care of the household and kids and me, you’re on your own.” Just like how men test women too to see if she has qualities that guarantee the relationship will work in the long run (and not just during the honeymoon phase when times are great).

And this is why the testing never stops. I have been with the same woman for decades. To her and other people I am 1)polite, honest, & direct. Even when its tough 2) my words and actions ALWAYS align, even when it's tough. I have reasonable boundaries & the spine to enforce them. Women are looking for internal strength. Since being this way, her testing has reduced exponentially. Both of us know the sunk cost fallacy. I pay 100% of the bills. I am willing to forgive mistakes and the OCCASIONAL bad day. But if either happens too much, she will get fired. Even after decades together. I take care of her. But I will not do it for free. She must take care of me. My love and caring is conditional. If a woman is testing or probing because the man has revealed something questionable, you can pretty much expect for a woman to dig further. I’d expect men to do the same. How are women testing guys these days? I’m curious as to what other women are doing to test their way out of a relationship. I’d think that once a relationship has been established there is no need to keep testing someone for no reason. Unless the other person is causing doubt, it would be kind of weird and uncalled for to stay on that path. That would zap the joy out of the relationship. To keep it on track the context of this clip was really about women testing to see if a man can lead the relationship, not other types of testing. Women need to know where the leader is planning on leading them. Otherwise it gives off cultishh vibes.

In general I agree, but here I find a different motivation. I find that women want to be lead in the direction they want to go, taking, or releaving them selves of direct or indirect responsibilities or even effort of their goals, which is usually happiness. Free happiness is to a women as is free money is to a man.

They will always test. The more tests you pass the fewer of them there are and the longer they will go before testing you again. Men subconsciously do this as well with their guy friends. When you get teased by a friend at the poker table, that is a test. If you say nothing, you fail. You are now subconsciously lower on the status and leadership hierarchy in the group.
