The biggest issue I have is the way they pack the meat. You try this at home and you'lee see that when you want to prepare the cooking that the meat will be dark because of the way they are stacked. The heavier the patty, the bigger the chance that it will turn bad. I had some really bad experiences eating burgers at M'. So I only order thin patties and coated chicken to minimize the need to go to the toilet asap. It's a good way to get your stomach emptied I guess.

I used to drive truck cross country and one of my loads picked up at a meat packing plant in Dodge City Kansas. It was these huge vats of beef fat. I mean mostly fat. 45,000 lbs worth of fat. I had to take it to a processing plant in Green Bay WI. When I got there and they were off loading the product I ask him what he was going to use it for, sausage of some kind? He said that they make beef patties for McDonald's and they add this fat to get the proper mixture. I looked inside the vat's and it was just about as fat as you can get. Pure fat. I knew McDonald's used fatty meat, no mystery there. I just never expected actually adding pure fat to make it fatter. I noticed they didn't show that on here.

Here's the down low from my father who was a meat inspector at a plant where McDonalds ordered the beef. They would insist on 90CL (chemical lean) which is a high grade of beef, but they would always use older cows, thus cheaper. Also, from my friend who toured a McDonalds processing plant, it's just beef and they then scan them with a metal detector, that's it.

These food processing machines have to make very large quantities of food in a very short period of time to keep up with demand from people for food. Millions & millions of people if not billions of people all over the world need to be fed to stay alive, including myself. So the demand for food from humans is extremely high all the time. Very interesting video. It's something you wouldn't normally get to see unless you actually worked in these factories as an employee.

Very cool. You left one part out, though. At what point do they put the gold leaf on the burgers? They must do something to make them so expensive.

While there is a lot of automation, I didn't know there was so much human involvement. On a side note, I know a guys who used to work in one of the bakeries in the S.F. South bay. He said that place made 5,000 dozen (60,000) buns PER HOUR. And that was 20 years ago.

Sounds about right, well tastes that way anyhow. I was surprised to learn Arby's roast beef was actually only 15% beef, so wouldn't surprise me to find out that McDonald's patties were in that same ballpark.

They dont use normal cuts of beef for their patties. They run the cow hides (skins) through a huge machine called a centrifugal extractor, add a bunch of chemicals to turn what crap sticks to the hides to mush, and spin it super fast so it detaches. That is what they use for their beef patties. That’s why they taste so yummy.🤮Don’t be fooled by this video. Also I didn’t know they sold potato chips at McDonalds…

Well I don't know if that is true or not, but that is exactly what they taste like. It would be fun to see authentic videos of MCDs processes, hope one day somebody goes rogue and films it.

I just took a quick glance at this video to see how Mc Donalds actually prepares their foods and I'm glad to say, since I quit eating Mc Donalds and other fast food establishments and I started to eat more healthy, my life has changed, no more heartburn, no stinky farts, no high blood pressure, no more weight gain, feel more alert and more energized, depression disappeared, no constipation, end of the day, pay attention to what your body needs which is real nutrition instead of over indulging in fried fat greasy fast foods, your body will thank you in the long run.

You need a whole ten-minute video to show how a hamburger is made? I can tell you in the space of 7-20 seconds. A person puts a hamburger patty on a hot grill, cooks it until done, maybe warms the bun for a minute accordingly, adds the requested toppings, and places the burger between the bun halves, likely with a spatula. See how quick that was? Basically done the same way in any restaurant that serves hamburgers!

is it at the same Mc D's you ate at and got sick? might be restaurant staff not washing their hands properly if at all ,after using the bathroom or other food handling no-no's . or unsanitary conditions in the kitchen, food storage , etc. I have never gotten sick [ So far ] from eating at McDonald's. now, if only the ice cream machines worked all the time....
